Not "mine" just a friend with season tix that loves going with his friends and not his wife and young kids.

I can relate. My wife only goes to away games and bowl games (remember those?). I use "her" ticket in Memorial to take relatives and buddies who appreciate going to the games more than she does, and she is fine with that. Glad you have a friend who will supply you with a ticket, it is going to be ELECTRIC.
He plans to narrow down to 6 by Jan/Feb. Wants to throw for the track team. Is elite there too.
Likes UGA, LSU, AL, NU and will visit Mizzou and likely to see Ohio State and Michigan

Desperate is a bit much don't you think? Sounds like he pretty much has his mind made up, stay close to home but wants one more free trip with all the hoopla.
Nothing good can come out of it for UT if he comes for the CU game. They know that. Even just delaying a commitment to UT leaves the door open for another school to sneak in. Think about if DR were to throw for 350 yards and 4 tds in a out of this world atmosphere with us winning. That might cause a pause on his part.
I hope. Token vacation to see a game? We have to recruit better than that even for a 2nd or 3rd back.
