I don’t think the athletic department ship needs to be righted but he was an obvious interim choice who everybody should be comfortable with.

I have known him for many years. Excellent choice. Very high character. He has a ton of respect from all the coaches throughout the Athletic Department. He will keep them focused, motivated and moving forward which is quite important at his time. Now if we can just get a few other entities outside the Athletic Department to act accordingly we may be OK.

I talked with a family member and they said this guy is the goat. Literally everyone loves him and he is a huge part of the success of student athletes. Haven't heard a bad word and sounds like well deserved for this cat.
