Hope Bahl will be ok. After all the hoopla about this year's team that 0-8 score certainly grabbed my attention. Yikes.
Well, if you like to think Husker athletics are cursed, this adds fuel to the fire. One of the most decorated incoming transfers probably in NU history, and she gets hurt in her first game.

Why do tennis players play with green balls? Men and women play with the same. I think you're going off the deep end here.

Most tennis balls we used in the 70s and 80s were florescent yellow or green.
She wanted to hit, which OU basically didn't let her do and she would rather live in Nebraska than Oklahoma (obv).

I remember hearing almost twenty years ago her personality was crap. Then player complaints were made public in 2019 outlining some psychotic behavior, and anyone can find corroborating stories from long-time posters on different forums to back it up (harassing certain players with non-stop text messages, including overnight, berating them, and punishment for not replying right away even if it was 2 a.m., for example). Maybe she mellowed out a bit but...
Watch it come out that after years of wearing Nike cleats at OU and then wearing her own Nike practice cleats in the preseason, she puts on her university issued Adidas game cleats and promptly suffers a lower leg injury in her first game for the Huskers. I’m guessing that the lack of any update likely means she will be out more than just a couple games. Hope I’m wrong.
