You all know me, I'm the resident pessimist - won't believe it until I see it. With that obligatory small print out of the way, I believe this is a team that can win 8 or 9 this year.
We would have had 9 wins last year if we had a QB who didn't turn the ball over in record numbers.

It’s been so long since we’ve actual been any good, who knows. But this team will have a lot fewer question marks coming into the season (even with a Freshman QB) than any Nebraska team in years.

Tell me the 3 losses... I have had this question to people that say 8 or 9 with a competent QB.

Our Losses with one...

Michigan - 1
Colorado - Maybe 1

Then who else...

Minnesota - W
Wisconsin - W
Maryland - W
Iowa - W
Michigan State - W

By my calculations if we had a competent QB we win 10... I personally feel we would beat Colorado too

Just talk. We need to win games not off seasons.
Agreed. I want to see us win before counting on wins. I’ve been doing the latter to some extent for years and our actual record has always been south (sometimes way south) of what I expected.

Agree wholeheartedly but it's the off-season so speculation is all we have.

Not just any freshman QB. The best in the country. Winking Take care of the ball and we'll be fine.
And the best in the country that's had hands on training from the best QB coach in the country. I have little doubt about our New starting QB and where he's going to lead this team, onward and upward.
