To me a ***** is an easy girl who dresses like, well, an easy girl. And acts like an easy girl. Slut is just someone who will do anyone, any time. But you might not know it if you didn't know them.

I also think girls are more likely to call another girl a ***** instead of a slut...because more girls are a bit "easy" themselves. I also feel like girls have started to use the word "slutty" as a term of empowerment.
