Again Did you miss what Nick Saban said about this subject…Apparently your missing the point…

Executing in a game is can be more important that the NFL combine..

Unless your a first round for sure player you shouldn’t be afraid of getting hurt in a game your getting drafted for..
There is plenty of in-game footage. You’re (notice the correct spelling) a damn fool if you think a meaningless bowl game is more important than the combine

You and thall need to get a room.. maybe saban and KKkirk will join you both 🤣

FSU is 2-0 against your favorite conference so doubt they are sacred. All players are opting out to prepare for combine.

I still find hilarious that you think your Hawkeyes could beat Louisville …. So … fvcking … funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
the problem with that one is that I already ribbed you for being a closeted FSU fan, so it takes the power away

you were doing really well with the "Alabama fan" and "Nick Saban is your daddy" takes cuz that borders just on the realm of possibility.

do another Alabama one

Miami and FSU. Clemson was an afterthought from 83 until 6 yr ago or so….and look to be trending that way again.
Miami hasn't been more than above average in any season since 2002 and road games at Hard Rock Stadium in front of tens of thousands of empty seats don't compare with Death Valley. Clemson has had a couple less than stellar seasons recently but they have won two NCs in the past 8 years, played for two more in the past 9 years, and have gone bowling in every one of those seasons. Clemson is also in a location near the nexus of Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina meaning recruiting visits to all three are easy.

Another option is just to go forward and take FSU, NC, Clemson, and Miami all at once, and make Duke and ND basketball members. The ACC will crumble soon anyway and we might as well get the ones we really want before the SEC does.

seems like an unnecessary hissy fit considering it will make no difference this year.

12 team playoff means they'll get to be beaten around by real teams like they so desperately want

Yeah! Real teams like NW, IL, Rutgers, Minn, Indiana 🤣🤣

ACC has three times the national championships than the B1G over past 10 years. B1G has sucked bro

i've been giving this contract some thought and wonder if fsu will use "force majeure" as rationale for exiting. essentially claiming that the world has changed extraordinarily from when they entered the contract. so much so that they cannot be bound by it today. the changes were acts of man that could not reasonably have been foreseen by a thoughtful signatory. and further that the penalties are irrational for the times.

That's not their main reason for wanting to leave the ACC. The main reason FSU wants to leave the ACC is to make the kind of money that Indiana, Northwestern, and Vanderbilt make.

Except if they have to pay over $500+ million to exit the ACC then how much will their net gain be vs. staying in the ACC until it busts up and there's no penalty? I didn't run the numbers, just pointing out the obvious that a large portion of their gain by going to the B1G or SEC could be eaten up by the large exit penalty.

Good point. Counter point. Contracts a contract. Will be interesting. Just because contract is bad and poorly written ie vision, can it be arbitrarily broken?

it can certainly be broken if viewed unfairly written by the courts.

What Is Force Majeure?

Force majeure is a clause that is included in contracts to remove liability for unforeseeable and unavoidable catastrophes that interrupt the expected course of events and prevent participants from fulfilling obligations. These clauses generally cover natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes, as well as human actions, such as armed conflict and man-made diseases.

florida does not have a veto vote on "free shoes u" joining. aTm would have said "no" to texas had their been such a provision.

The primary reason FSU will not go to the SEC is location. The Noles sit right in the middle of SEC territory and add nothing to enhance either TV/media revenue or Recruiting. FSU already recruits well against the SEC. I'm pretty sure the schools in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi do not want to give FSU any added recruiting advantage. Any attempt to add FSU would be DOA with or without Florida's vote. AllHokie

Well there's only the B1G and the SEC for them to join to realize a huge pay upgrade. Makes you wonder if they already have a contingent agreement with one of those conferences behind the scenes to join if they get released from the ACC. And the ACC could then experience the domino effect that wrecked the PAC as other members jump on the exit bandwagon. 2 of the top ACC teams to the B1G and 2 teams to the SEC?

If true that's unfortunate. They signed the contract and should have to pay the $572M to get out. It is a big problem nowadays people sign contracts, then want to back out when they don't like the terms of the deal (like student loan payments).
