Monster defensive performance, wildcats also just looked off and they completely imploded in the second half. Our offense wasn’t pretty either and that was very much a defensive win. +17 on the boards. Held them to just 12 points in the second half. 27% shooting. All while they had 18 free throw attempts to our 4.

Had it on the radio while I’m watching the girls get dominated. Huge road win, this one will matter come selection time.

Nice win for the Hoiskers.

They beat Villanova in MiniHattan this year.

sCats beat Providence & LSU away from home.

Resume builder. This is the type of win the NCAA tournament committee will look at. K-state is a good team.

As long as Arthur Kaluma is on the other team, you have a chance of winning. Creighton has to be glad they got rid of him. He can’t dribble an chew gum at the same time. Good win for Nebraska. Wins on the road look good.

This team confuses me. That Minnesota loss is going to come back to haunt us just like fb

Tang is still a hot name BUT so far this season is not helping.

That stupid blown lead vs Minny hurts. NU not bad and the Big Ten is down this year. They could get to top 5-6 in conference after Purdue and Illinois it is probably wide open.

Juan Gary had a pretty nice game, he was a beast on the boards with 18 rebounds to go along with 13 pts.

Solid win! Hope they can keep building upon these OOC victories as we enter conference play.

Except I am not sure Minn that good. Still gonna sting. A game we should have won
Minnesota is awful but losing there won't be a huge albatross if NU can get some quality in-conference wins. Huskers don't have that many opportunities for quality wins, which is what makes boatracing K-State such a big deal. It was NU's last chance to build some NCAA tournament capital from the non-conference schedule.

Lol. I've seen everyone on tv except for today. My wife got message from her sister...they were at the game... ksucks fans. She was complaining that they stink 🤣 🙄
You didn't watch yesterday? There was a woman (I think) who was BELLERING the entire game, like "D-UP! LET'S GO!" I mean, it was incessant. You could hear her at all times in the background. I couldn't see here but I kinda assumed she looked like:

that was a good ncaa-bid-win for the huskers. it was a tail of two halves. k-state looked to be the better team the first twenty. the mayor then made some halftime adjustments. and k-state never adjusted accordingly. it looked little better than a high school team getting bullied and run by N in a charity scrimmage the whole second half.

it would be nice to see fred have some success now. this team could do the trick for him. his lack of success up there has been a bit baffling.

Hoiberg success is not all that of a surprise. His first few teams were built for the Big 12, and loaded up on transfers that did not really produce from the perimeter. The fast pace philosophy without a true inside presence (or player who could attack the basket at the end of the shot clock) was problematic. If shots didn’t fall, they were prone to losses by average non-conference opponents. Trev forced him to get a true B1G style last year, and team started to gel. Lost by many is an upgrade in the assistant coaching staff. We seem to have a staff that can game plan — as well as find transfers that fit this style.

NU has potential to make the dance, as long as they do what they need to do at home. Need to steal 2-3 wins on the road with a couple wins against the Zombie, Illinois, Wisky, or Indiana.

Nate Loenser has been a great hire. The defense after Loenser's arrival — aside from this year's Creighton game — couldn't be much better than it has been.
