I am starting to feel like McCord, Raiola and Fleming are not all. There feels like there is going to be something coming out of left field like Cayden Green or something too

If the original tweet was implying the announcement of this Vegas OL, the use of the term “dawg” is serious trolling

I think you are going to get McCord, Raiola, Kaelin, Haarburg. Have heard Purdy is probably a grad transfer, but who knows at this point. Hopefully all this stuff comes out soon.
If Purdy has any balls he’ll stick around and compete for the job.

Let's be honest that wouldn't be smart on his part at this point if we get McCord and Raiola...
You stick around and have a shot to be the man if McCord would get injured or for the following season. He might feel he has to test the NIL market but I can’t imagine it would be very lucrative. He has to consider what happened to his buddies Smothers and Thompson after they left. He could possibly garner more NIL money as a backup QB at NU than as a starter at a directional school.

Given that option as a one time proposition when you lack the guy, absolutely. Running with portal QBs year after year as a strategic plan seems undesirable. No continuity. Expensive. Top tier portal QBs may be few and not interested in NU some years.

When you hit on a HS QB, you get some stability. But you still have to pay to keep them.
Baloney. There is no stability whether we take HS qb's or not. If a guy is good, you're going to have to pay up to get him or to keep him. Welcome to the new reality of college football. Best get used to it.

With the judge's ruling today, Purdy could leave immediately and participate in the new school's spring practice. Whether he does leave or not I think depends on what interest develops from other schools.

The amazing part is the number of OL recruits in this years class.
Needs to be. Linemen need to be a priority every year. Way too many people have thought you need to focus on the "sexy" positions rather than linemen

Yeah, who knows. Sounds like Kaelin is already out and the way NU goes through QB's, you know if Purdy stuck around he'd see some sort of time backing up McCord as I doubt they would put DR in the game unless he was killing it in practice and was going to preserve his RS. It's all very interesting as I am curious what happens to HH as well. H-Back and Emergency QB?

At least we can move past the silly notion that Donovan can't recruit. He's brought in the second highest rated OL class at NU in the internet era.

Read on another board that Nate Frazier reached out to the staff. Take it for what its worth.
