Portal QB's

We have a great fan base and top notch facilities. But not much else going for us as we sit as one of the worst P5 programs right now. We going to have to pay!

I'm biased of course but I do think a smart QB realizes how much better the offense could be with a great QB and fewer injuries to the WR and RB groups.
lol. he turned down notre dame. he's not coming to lincoln. amart is likely a key to getting will howard but not collin klein.
I'd be happy to take two QB's from the portal, one experienced for next year with limited eligibility (like the KSU QB) and one for the future (like the MSU QB). And I'd suggest Sims now depart for greener pastures to a smaller school. I think we all realized this year how important having a good QB is.
The real action will happen next week when we find out all the other guys that will hit the portal. Almost no one’s going after the guys hard without knowing who else will be in the portal. There’s a lot of QBs now, there will be 30+ more in about 4 days
disagree. guys like riley leonard and will howard are in discussions and have been for sometime now.
Next week? They better be on it already. I would think most all high level players entering the portal already have a plan December 4th is just completing the transaction.

collin klein replacing chris klieman seems a fait accompli at this point in time. klieman is 56, klein 34. a.d. gene taylor (66) just signed an extension which in effect extends klieman as well. the clinker in this plan would be an iowa opening.
Klieman could coach another 10-15 years, easily… if Klein is offered a head coaching job elsewhere, do you really think he will spurn all offers to stay for a chance to be HC at KSU?

collin didn't kiss his wife until married at the altar. so i'm not going to assume anything about him after learning that and then turning down notre dame.
he also said no to saban at alabama. but yes, i'm sure N could do a lot better than ck.
i thought penn state made a great hire from ku. that offense was like chasing a pack of jackrabbitts on ice not knowing which had the ball. as bo said of bill snyder in '88: get him the f___ out of the big ten. i won't miss andy kotelnicki in the big twelve.

Yeah, i am sure all the schools have been working behind the scenes, and was just pointing out that the lower QBs aren’t get hit up hard until the upper guys are off the market. And many can’t make things official until next week at the earliest.
I mean, just watch how many QBs hit the portal on Monday and Tuesday.
Yes please. This would change the direction of the entire offense (transfers, etc) next year.
Can someone clarify if visiting a player before the portal open is allowed by the NCAA? That would be my first question to determine if that tweet is legit. I thought everything was done by an intermediary, ie hs coach, until the portal opened.
Didn’t Al gore say something in the effect there is no controlling legal authority, and that your answer the ncaa has no teeth , just look at Michigan cheating, did they say anything? Nothing but crickets
