We have loser POS as QBs. Who the hell are you trying to kid?
The absolute worst of which he hand picked and treated like a future superstar. The first two games he played were jaw dropping bad. Epic. He later played briefly and only cemented the initial impression.
I'm willing to see what year two brings but if it's more of the same I think we'll have a pretty good understanding of what we have. Remember, we've become experts on the analysis of bad coaching.. Not much patience for the same old con. Bad AD'S who let these guys bring in completely under-qualified assistants. Callahan, Pelini, and Rhule with their golf buddy types. Frost and Riley plucked legit coaches but not necessarily good or bad ones, they weren't going to thrive under the conditions. Osborne, Bill Snyder, and Bill McCartney made their assistants good coaches like some qb's enhance the whole.team.

What legit coaches did Frost or Riley pluck? I don't remember anyone getting a better job other than Tuoti and Bray. Who else moved on to something better?

And we needed ANOTHER thread bashing Rhule and/or Satterfield right before early national signing day because? I’m not understanding what your goals have become and what you think you’re accomplishing.
Dude this thread was created a week ago… why you whiners keep bumping it?

Pretty good actually. It was definitely over .500.
I lived through getting punked in November by OU and CU and it seemed like every bowl game for years early in Tom’s career. You might also remember that he took over A F’N NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM. The situations were NOT remotely comparable at Temple, Baylor and NU.

It was near the top of the page or I wouldn’t have responded. Your crusade against Rhule and Satterfield isnt productive if you’re truly a Husker fan.
Just leave tampa and kong because we will never change their mind, I’ll read their posts but I highly doubt I’ll respond anymore, I can’t wait to see who signs with Nebraska who we get in the portal and hopefully I live to see next season

You're a total effing loser dude and seem to love losing. Of course you're completely satisfied under Riley and Frost and Rhule and would nitpick at TO's accomplishments.

Not nitpicking Tom. I think considering he didn’t coach in an area hotbed of talent, I think he’s the GOAT. At the same time I think it’s ludicrous to bash Rhule for his record against ranked teams given the dumpster fires he took over. That metric and the way it’s being used is most definitely nitpicking. Get the program to 9 wins then let’s worry about beating Michigan and OSU.

I think you need to reevaluate who the whiny little ***** is and getting butthurt over an objective statistic.
It’s not really objective. It’s a narrow stat picked purposely from a coach taking over 2 losing programs who built those programs in to winners in year 3 then was hired away for money. There’s no way to objectively say that he wouldn’t have beat ranked teams at Baylor if he had stayed. Forget Temple. They’re a doormat school that plays ranked teams for paychecks.

Ironically temple is the only place he actually did beat ranked teams (navy and one other)

Didn’t beat any at Baylor despite a run to the conf title game

I don’t really care all that much about it; obviously trev didn’t either

I really need a break from this board. It is full of whiny little bitches.
Statistical facts are not whining. Interesting that Rhule didn't beat even one ranked team while at Baylor in his three years. Gave a pretty good accounting of themselves against most of them but wins over teams ranked at game time.

At least a .500 record against the easiest schedule in the history of Nebraska football.. pretty low expectation
The easiest schedule is all in your cotton pick’em mind with out any proof..

No question it wasn’t difficult schedule to be bowl eligible, but all three QB’s had a hand in not accomplishing that goal..

I sure wish kong and Tampa would run for public office and win, so we could ***** about everything that doesn’t work
My policy would be awesome.. I’d do the exact opposite of the big guy and all would be wonderful

didnt TO have a below 500 record with ranked teams
No. No man. No.
Again you keep adding to the goal line, I just said TO had a below 500 record against ranked opponents
And you were way wrong. 11 of the 49 losses he had were to national champions but he still had a winning record against ranked teams.
What was his record against ranked teams his first 10 years? Not being being an ***. I really don’t know.
He beat Bear his 5th year. They had a home and home in 77, 78.

25-17 record against ranked teams first ten seasons.

Easiest schedule in the last 20 years and it isn’t close

we had the top rushing offense in the conference and a top 15 national defense - considering we only won 5 games given those 2 stats, the schedule, and getting absolutely destroyed by 3 TDs by Deion Sanders we may have just witnessed the worst coaching job in the modern era of Nebraska football

Osborne didn't record a loss to CU until 1986 lol. His 14th season. He had 2 prior top 10 match-ups where he blew them out. One of them to the tune of 63-21. He was 21-3-1 against Colorado and only had 2 losses to them in the 80s and 1 in the 90s.

We also had the most turnovers in the country and 2nd from last in turnover margin..

Worst coaching job in the modern era wasn’t this year under Rhule..
No question it was the worst offense since the Jennings era and the Devaney 1967 offensive team averaging 12.7 points a game..

Tampa has made it a point the be quoted as the easiest schedule EVER!

I wouldn't pin this unacceptable outcome on Rhule if he would fix the situation. As of no he's culpable. Save your injury excuse we looked just as bad before all those happened and a couple of those injuries are on Rhule anyway

Now that you mention it the staff did have injury issue‘s with losing top 2 RB’s and the most experienced WR’s we had were injured as well..

Thanks for bring this to our attention too..
