. He got the luxury of the B1G west this year as wellfeel like I’ve heard this for the last 10 years. You still pushing this?
Time to fix. Process. Last staff. Players not making plays.
Let’s ignore teams like NW that could use these excuses but are going bowling
The only disappointment is we couldn’t get a win in November and mismanaged end of games…
With all the injuries occurred early at RB and WR I’m not going to fault the staff with that but too many missed opportunities..

We have two 4 stars and one three star on our roster for qbs. Will you ever hold the coaching accountable or just into blaming the players? You should change your avatar because Devaney would be disgusted with you ..
The major disappointment is that it seemed like Scott Frost was coaching our team in November
It's really dumb to count teams that end up not being ranked. Or not count teams who end up being ranked.
Stars don’t mean ****, better get that through your thick noggin.. it’s developing that makes the stars..

Wow.. now that is a stat that speaks volumes. Pair that with the stats of our OC/QB and we have a 5-7 season. Why can't we have a proven P5 winner.
He was just below .500 in bowls at 12-13. Doesn’t answer the question all time, but it’s a good indicator what his overall record was against ranked teams. There were some years I imagine only Nebraska and Oklahoma finished ranked out of the BIG 8.
While true, what have those two 4 star QBs done? GT fans were apparently grateful to wash their hands of Sims, and Purdy hasn’t had much opportunity to show what he can do. He was injured much of this year, and he overall looked better than the other two in the QB room, in my opinion.
So Sims is what he is, Purdy, in year one with Rhule and spending so much time injured, and HH who wasn’t even in the QB room last year… I’d say they developed ok considering the circumstances.
We saw Purdy last year and he was bad by all accounts. This staff got ahold of him and made him look like a QB at least.

No very highly doubt it. As someone pointed out, we didn't have a very good record in bowls, as we were essentially playing the national title winner or the runner up for about a decade straight.
No it's not a good indicator. Read my other comment. A majority of those 13 bowl losses finished the season ranked either #1 or #2.
According to Reddit he was 68-38 against ranked opponents.. pretty close to Saban’s 87-43
I guess so. I see people constantly underestimate just how freaking good we were back then. I wasn't even alive then and I can recognize that.

So, other than mismanaging the last three games (at least) and mismanaging the most important player on the team, not disappointing at all. Yay
What was his record against ranked teams his first 10 years? Not being being an ***. I really don’t know.
