Hahaha!! Coaches have tried that in the last, we turn it over and then coaches are crucified.

I agree. We were at the 15 with a minute and 3 timeouts. We could have avoided OT. I didn’t like it.
The FG would have won last week, or at least got the lead.
This week they played for OT
We could have gotten several more plays at the end of regulation. First and 10 at the Wisconsin 26 with plenty of time and 3 timeouts?

This is a big LOL to me. I get it, I’m pissed too, but we have seen this in multiple games this year, every time ending with no points and no chance to win.
Rhule played it safe and played for OT. If Chubba throws a pick because we are going for the TD, someone would have burned his house down overnight.
Yes, I wanted to go for the TD. I was frustrated watching the clock tick down. But he made a decision to play for OT and gave us a chance (which was terrible offensively).

At some point in time we have to face the fact that this is Nebraska football. We’ve had a laundry list of coaches that have come in here and have yet to win a championship. TO saw the writing on the wall and bailed at the perfect time.

No, the coaches let the clock die when they didn't have to. On a do or die last play when you have an upcoming field goal in your back pocket like last week... yeah you don't call a stupid play and make sure you get the go ahead field goal at minimum. With a minute ******* 20 left with 3 timeouts you don't let it just run down and limit the amount of plays that put you in the same situation as the week before if you don't have to

100%. People upset at Rhule playing for OT would've been super pissed had we been more aggressive and then ended up turning the ball over.
Then it would've been, "Our D has been playing great. They would've won it for us in OT."
We had 3 timeouts left. We could have played it safe and ran the ball 3 times there to try and actually win the game - low risk. Instead we milked the clock and threw it wildly out of the end zone. That’s just pure stupidity.

I don’t disagree. I am with you. We should have called some safe play calls. Give it a shot. But Rhule decided not to. And since we lost, he will have to answer for it. But had the defense gotten a stop in OT, maybe we win.

No! At Nebraska you play to tie the game with a patched up team that has no confidence. Where was the attitude " We are just going to play the Game" ?
if we get stop in OT our offense is not guaranteed to score a TD. Not even close. We hadn’t scored a TD since the second drive of the game. And there is a good chance our freshman kicker would have missed a FG in OT to tie it. Best chance for a TD and a win was the end of regulation and this staff chose not to try.
You have to make them stop you. If you dont run any plays then youve done their job for them.
