It’s two Fold, both his OC and DC left for HC positions and he refuses to embrace NIL. Clemson’s championship run was incredible given that they don’t really have a history of winning to that level. The only other time would be the Danny Ford era and he was a cheater. On paper they have quite a bit of talent and should be winning double digit games regardless. It’s on him at the end of the day and if Clemson is smart they’ll give him a couple more seasons to get back on track.

Ah Danny Ford...his '82 Clemson team basically started the Huskers bad run in the Orange Bowl against southern teams for over a decade until the MNC win against Miami in '95. Clemson won the MNC in '82 and by the next season was under severe sanctions. There might have been more players being paid on the '82 team than this year's Clemson team.

That was actually the 1981 Nebraska team that lost in the 82 Orange Bowl to Clemson.

He doesn't like NIL but Clemson has a large NIL collective AND another top 10 class on the way. It's ridiculous to even write the words "if Clemson is smart they'll give him a couple more seasons." I mean, what? The notion that Dabo is on any kind of a hot seat, or even lukewarm, is laughable. Maybe Alabama should've fired Saban in the parking lot when they lost to to Texas this year?

College football fans.

He doesn't like NIL because all schools are now legally doing what Clemson was doing illegally, and it has taken away Clemson's advantage.

All these people are spoiled including Dabo. Just a bumpkin assistant coach in a fertile recruiting area who hit on back to back qbs and dominated a down conference. Would love to see how Dabo did at New Mexico State or Indiana or somewhere.

Yeah, that explains why Clemson was an average-at-best program for decades before Dabo got there.

Didn’t Dabo and some of his players get in trouble for “juicing?” Dabo’s been cheating for a while now..he looks burnt out to be honest..

They were 11-3 and 8-0 in conference last year. Your argument is ridiculous based on ACTUAL facts.
I'm not convinced the conference is that great. I think they play ND tomorrow? I think Dabo is a rich man's Bo Pelini. Beats up on inferior talent. I kind of hope he leaves so I can find out. I bet he stays within a couple hours of Atlanta. He doesn't seem like a coach like Urban that can can win anywhere. But I admit I could be wrong.

rest of the conference (Florida State, Miami, Duke, Louisville, UNC) gained a pulse and suddenly they look slightly above average.

Michigan cheats and most likely will only receive a slap on the wrist for it, so perhaps Dabo should start cheating to win more, lol.
