They have a lot of land. Taxes are getting out of hand on them (and everyone for that matter)

The other thing Valas has is a huge demand. Literally way more people they can handle. They have to raise prices to lower the demand so they can handle the amount of people.

With how many people that go there with the current prices, they could raise the prices more.
