To all the folks who said we’d beat Maryland because they’re soft

You look to be right

No it wouldn’t. Nebraska is in a rebuild as bad as most coming off a longer bowl drought than any power 5 team.

I get everyone stinks but Nebraska isn’t any better yet. My goal is 6 or 7 wins but I guarantee everyone on the schedule thinks Nebraska is one of the easiest ones left.

A little levity would go a long way around here, or I at least wish everyone would have held Frost to that same standard before the 5th season.
We should win 6 with this terrible schedule.

“Should”. Well for the last 10 years we “should” have won the big ten west as soft as it was. Need to think like coach Rhule says, let’s go 1-0 this week.

Nah, we had losers for leadership.

What a shame. A slightly above average team could walk thru this schedule with 1 loss

We'll never see a schedule as soft as this one again

Wow. Well Maryland fooled me after hanging 3 quarters with OSU. Let down game after a big loss or is Maryland just who they usually are?

Looks like all of you saying that Maryland would be the best team in the West were proven wrong. Again. It's like clockwork.

Maryland looks like the same team they always are, good skill guys, avg/bad OL and DL. Outside of the 1st half against Ohio State it doesn't look like they've turned the corner.

Our win over Illinois looking better, and our run defense. At least for remaining games on the schedule

Maryland is a lot like Colorado. An average team with a good QB and passing game. If we can show improvement on offense and not make careless mistakes (a big if), we should beat them.

That said, it was a bad spot for Maryland coming off the Ohio St game that they put everything into and Illinois had extra rest. Timing is everything when it comes to mediocre football teams.

I mean we were gifted last year. Oregon and Washington gonna have some fun next year. UCLA and USC will fit in nicely.
Nebraska & Penn State were better than Oregon & Washington....and they haven't had much fun in the Big Ten.

Oregon and Washington with Nix and Penix would be right with Michigan this year..

Both are better than Penn St or tOSU, but the B1G won’t have to face these two dynamic QB’s next season..

I doubt that...but let's see what happens the rest of the year.

And let's see how they do next year in Big Ten play. They'll probably be about .500.

Not sure about how Penn was in the early 90s. But Oregon and Washington are significantly better than Nebraska was in 2009. I did not realize both QBs will be gone next year. Will impact them significantly.

Minnesota's quarterback is gone THIS year...but no one here is giving us a free pass.

Let's see how the great Oregon and Washington does in the Big Ten.

So you actually think any of the B1G West teams could hang with Oregon or Washington ? Wisky couldn’t beat Washington St lost by 9..

These two teams have the best offenses in college football this year..
