What happened to DB? Was a very entertaining show and DB made it worth listening to. Pretty bad with just Ravy and random guest

I guess I’m not surprised. He’s been spread pretty thin. I don’t think it’s a great paying gig.
. They said he wouldn’t be doing that because the Friday night game conflicted with his high school coaching duties.
He’s obligated to his coaching high school football, Gregg sharp mentioned that the other night, since the game was on a Friday night, I believe he’ll be back in two weeks
He's the worst. I remember him whining as well when 1620 didn't give him a job. It's like buddy.... You aren't very good.
He didn't do the Colorado game either, so I'm assuming all road games will be Jeremiah Sirles.
Sports talk radio in the metro is not in a good at present.
- Sharp and Handly - not great but tolerable
- Ravi - hard pass
- Conner - hard pass
- John and Josh - possibly the worst sports talk duo/show I have ever heard
I like the Sharp and Handley show. Decent listen and aren't annoying. I mainly listen for the beat guys as I am out of town and just like to hear Husker talk.
I saw that too. I’m with another poster…I think he might have been spread too thin with Husker Sports, being a coach at Westside, making time for his kids, etc. I’m still a bit confused though, because it was his own show.
Hurrdat Sports is also growing as a media entity, I’ve noticed they have been hiring a few folks recently.

I miss
Schick and Nick from 10-2 AND Kugler and Severe from 2-6. That is what got me to listen to 1620. Schick and Nick could of went National, they were that funny IMO!

Most schools it's been a percentage of base pay or it used to be. Wouldn't surprise if bigger schools pay better. It's public record some place in board minutes if take time to look

DB is currently getting pre-NIL "favors" for Caleb's recruitment, or counting on future "favors".
Crazy how people like what they like. I love Ravi (with DB) but with the young lady currently they aren't very good.
They definitely need DB back on but I actually like Ravi. I like the fact that he's a straight shooter regardless. Most Nebraska guys tend to beat around the bush or give valed answers when talking about Husker football related topics.
To each his own though I guess.

'Mangino Math' on unsportsmanlike conduct with Kugler and Severe was incredible! I also loved when Bill Callahan would call into the show. And I can't remember her name, but they had a commercial with the producer of USC and she was pretending to be Casey Anthony and they were offering a babysitting service.
And I really enjoyed Schick and Nick. Nicks laugh was so ridiculous that I enjoyed it.
Ravi and DB were actually pretty good comedy. DB does such a great job of bringing player/coach perspective and not just a fans. Won’t listen anymore without DB
Bet everyone agrees the miss Matt Perrault. I remember when he got canned from 590 then the toolbox shows up in DSM. Gawd he was awful
