Sooooo…Miami could’ve taken a knee and won, but instead ran the ball and fumbled?!

This is not hyperbole, that’s the worst coaching decision I have ever seen and it’s not close, I doubt I’ll ever see anything that will ever top it.

But wait! This was not the first time Mario Cristobal has done this!

Not kneeling is absolutely, mind numbingly stupid. But to follow it up by letting a WR get behind you is incompetence that even Nebraska hasn’t sunk to.

Idiots. If nothing else Miami could have used one of their timeouts with 1 second on the play clock and then had a math discussion on the sideline.

Good thing for Georgia Tech that Sims transferred away. He would have missed that wide open receiver and thrown an interception.

Such a Nebraska thing to do.
Some guy was pissed, threw a bottle or something.

Was watching this game with my buddy who is a big Miami fan. I was giving him **** all game and right when he got cocksure that they had the game locked up this happened. I couldn't have laughed harder. Even mentioned GT should just throw a bomb to the end zone instead of trying to get in FG range. RollingLaugh I told him not even NU has pulled off something this asinine.

Couldn't happen a to a better team than Miami.

Glad they were wearing some **** awful black unis with orange and green hi-liter colors.

F*ck that team forever.

There aren't many one-play decisions that can severely depress the team and the entire fanbase - but that's definitely one. Yikes.

These modern coaches are morons including our own when it comes to end of game coaching and finishing the deal with brains and class. He was probably hoping his back would break one and put up some worthless style points.

I really, really wish I could find the Miami radio call of the fumble. I have not seen it posted online anywhere yet but that is the one thing I'm missing. I came across the GT radio call of the game winning TD for GT but I really want the radio call for the Miami fumble and subsequent TD. There is no way I could stay composed as the team's announcer so I'm curious if they were able to or not.

Not even close

I once witnessed a coach with less than 1 minute remaining in a national championship game elect to go for 2 and fail to convert when kicking the PAT would have guaranteed a national championship.

The Miami decision was bad but it only cost them a single game. They didn’t flush a national championship

Not close to this but ND's Freeman going for 4 and 11 from his own 35 yard line last night down 11 with 9:42 left in the game was inexplicably dumb as well.

Scott Frost would make the worst coaching decision I had ever seen on a weekly basis. Every time I couldn't believe that he found another more embarrassing way to lose.

I know a guy who called an onside kick for some reason, but ya, this one was a fireable offense.

Add Mizzery and they really blew their game, which made it even sweeter.
