Wow hard hitting analysis from Mainstream Johnny. Always someone else’s fault at CNN.

No screens? No designed plays? No handoffs?

Seems like he’s showing nothing to the staff that constitutes making him a priority

Really disappointing. Highly overrated.
Who is the qb? That guy should throw to open receivers.

Keep beating a dead horse of a made up story. Typical.
Made up how?

We have the only top 10 4* wide receiver who’s played in 100% of his team’s games and garnered zero touches/targets

And we have the worst offense by far of any his peers are producing at least something in

Let’s see those talking points, Mainstream!

Coleman was always going to be a bit of a project. He has a great combo of size and speed but isn't really a football player yet. He wasn’t even very productive in HS, missed a bunch of games his SR year, and also arrived in the Summer. Doss was the Freshman WR in line for the most PT before his injury.

Coleman’s ranking was based off his potential. And brace yourself because Carter Nelson, coming from 8-man football, may be in the same boat. Massive potential, but will have a huge learning curve.

Fair enough.

Then why not redshirt him?

The “Beast” will be unleashed against teams we stand a chance against. I’m thinking they are keeping him under wraps until it’s time….hopefully 😉🙏

I saw on the other board that they asked him and he didn’t want to redshirt. I agree that if they aren’t going to RS him, he needs some touches, but we probably shouldn’t expect big production this year.

So how many plays has Coleman played ?

I didn’t notice him out there late in the game but wasn’t necessarily looking for him that closely ..

Football isn't a hard game. Find a mismatch and take a shot with him down the field. His length and speed are worth at least that. I'm so sick of the rocket science bs at the collegiate level. It still comes down to jimmy and joes, and no one in the nation has utilized them more poorly the DONU over the last decade.

They did that against LA Tech and HH got sacked.

I must of missed the three step drop, timing fade rout to the 6'5 guy! What was the schematics that lead to the sack. Play action? 5 step? Or simply didn't pick up a blitzer?

I didn't even realize that he's been on the field. Espn has no information on his game log. Does the guy even exist?

1 play in 5 games is enough for Mainstream Johnny to heap the blame anywhere but on the administration

The kid was either woefully overrated or he’s being criminally underused
I've said it on here before but my dad has watched him play at LE. One game he was unstoppable and dominated every phase of the game including special teams. And then he saw him do nothing.

I think he is a super athletic, unpolished prospect in an offense that is struggling to find a rhythm.

Personally, I would get him a couple touches even on an end around. Doesn't have to be a pass. I think maybe they are overthinking it. Just because he's 6'5" and runs a 4.4 doesn't mean you have to hit him deep.

We did. Our line sucks and HH got sacked. Was at the game and noticed right away that he was trotting out there. I figured it was a move by Satterfield to try and catch them off guard. They probably wouldn't be expecting us to throw a bomb on the first play to a true freshman who doesn't have a catch and who isn't a starter.

Dude had a concussion this week. Rhule probably should've thrown him out there anyway.

It’s good he didn’t play on sat

If we’re not going to get him the ball he shouldn’t play anymore this season and should redshirt

He’s invisible when he’s out there so I took scarlet’s word for it

He got a catch last night and one other target correct? Assuming he was in for Washington and may play quite a bit more now.

Great to see him involved

Drew two penalties also

Haarberg missed him a bunch, too. Looking forward to seeing more from him.
