I want to believe yes… but after 4 games I feel like we’ll be 1 win shy. I can’t trust these sluts

I want to say yes, but until we find an offensive identity that isn't offensive to watch, dunno......

Based on what we’ve seen so far, no. 4-8 likely, with a snowball’s chance at 5-7.
the only good thing is this year is still going to be fun to watch IMO. Lots of kids playing and there’s probably going to be a lot of close games. My expectations are pretty low after Sims’s implosion.

I thought maybe but after today I lost a lot of confidence in the defense, and our Oline is fuuching garbage. That and the play calling seems really really off.

After Michigan, Nebraska next 4 games are very winnable..

Let the season play out.. Drives me nuts with questions like
“will we make a bowl”.🤮

There are 4 teams we CAN beat if we play fundamental football.

3 others if we play above our heads for one game.

The only games I see losses for are Michigan, Maryland, and maybe Wisonsin. If we win the rest we’re at my preseason prediction - 7 wins. That would still be my bet today. I don’t see any reason we can’t shut out Iowa like the pedos did, but they probably get some fluke score.

this year may represent the worst collection of teams in a power 5 division in the history of CFB

we have to take advantage and at least get to 6 wins in order to sell something to recruits and fans

given the schedule, 5 or less wins may represent the worst season in program history (modern cfb era)

Emerging identity is a power run option team with HH. There's plenty of counters and trick plays they can run off of that. We'll see against Meatchicken next week...

It’s an exercise in futility but it puts people on the record. One of my favorite quotes by TO was “I never really knew what I had for a team until November”.

i agree with your first sentence -- i do not feel we should put any new wrinkles on film for a Michigan game we have little to no chance of winning but rather save those for Illinois

for Michigan we should brush off the Bill Callahan game plan we used against USC in 2006. 4 minute offense from the get go. Run clock, stay vanilla and shorten the game.

I’m thinking no. Our line sucks so bad, our receivers are 3 feet tall. I think with a qb run game and grant doesn’t get hurt we can keep games short and close but if there’s 2 minutes left and we are down 7 , we don’t have the skill players to get us down to score. Also, I didn’t get to finish the game yesterday, what the hell was chubbs doing in there at qb with 8 minutes left? La Tech had the ability to score quick, was questionable coaching IMO

Glad to see I’m not the only one who thought the defense took a step backwards today. 0 sacks and a lot of missed tackles we didn’t see missed in the first 3 weeks.

I think we have a good chance to go to a bowl under HH. Under Sims, no chance.

Michigan is still a winnable game, although unlikely.

Next you got Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, & Michigan State... that's 4 more probable wins right there.

You still got Maryland, Wisconsin and Iowa as opportunities for wins too.

We can get 4 more wins, 5 more, 6 even.

I think our D comes out fired up and keeps the game close until the 3Q. What I’m afraid of is HH and Grant getting banged up. Our O line is unreal. Man when they pull it’s so slow that HH or Grant get killed every time. If we can come out of next Saturday, healthy, I think we can get to six based on the next four. Also, Iowa is terrible. If our defense shows up that day, we could win by 10 points.

I see Michigan and Maryland as likely losses. I see Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois as games that could go either way and the rest I see as wins. If we win at least 2 of the ones that could go either way and win all the ones we should win, that would give us a 7-5 record. That's what I will predict, we finish 7-5, best case scenario we finish 8-4 or even 9-3 if we catch a few breaks.
