I think we win but have no idea of the score. Hopefully Smoke doesn't go off. I still remember when Cumbie beat us when he was the QB at TT.

Nebraska - 21
LaTech - 3

Assuming HH plays the majority of the game. If he doesn't...

Nebraska - 21
LaTech - 17

Hard to judge with the recent season ending injuries, especially at RB, and the Qb controversy.

Optimistic take: 43 - 17 good guys
Realist take: 31 - 20 good guys
Pessimist take (Sims only QB and spots the other team multiple scores from turnovers: 27-24 the away team

Looks like a load of rain coming in:

Nebraska - 24
La Tech - 5
Maybe. Forecasts I saw this morning they're lowering chances for rain. Doesn't mean they won't raise it again but currently looking more north and picking up east of the river

So Nebraska will score the same amount of points with either QB, but for some reason the defense will give up 2 additional TDs if Sims plays?
Sims has become the new fall guy, for everything.

Right now...if a Husker fan saw Sims walking on water...they would yell out "Look at that, Jeff Sims can't swim!"

Yes, I think it's likely that if our offense turns it over it will be deep in our own territory leading to easy scores. Maybe even a pick 6 by the bad guys.

Hopefully it fizzles. I'm not local, just looked last night and it showed a pretty good chance, but I'm glad to hear it is fading.

I know last week our game hit the over, but until we can do that consistently I’m taking the under (47.5 this week va LTech). The line started at -22.5, but with Sims now in the discussion, I think bettors helped drop it down to -19.

42-10 Huskers. We still have AG, Haarberg and Sims are more than capable of producing in the running game and both are too good athletically to be on the sideline the entire game. Emmett Johnson wins over the fan base.

So using that logic Sims must be the better QB since he would have overcome multiple turnovers inside Nebraska territory, potentially even a pick 6 and still scores as many points as Haarberg would score.

Interesting logic

He very well could be the better QB, maybe even much better. A lot of season left.

Almost zero logic involved. It's a pure & hopeful guess for a win, keeping in mind we have had a recent history of turnovers at the worst times and places on the field. Hope that begins to change, but just in case it doesn't...

I'm feeling Sims is in and since we're playing LaTech, we will win pretty easily, making the whole QB situation worse.

42-10 Huskers. I think we see the offense sort of come together this week. They get a late TD to make it looks closer.

There is a possibility that it turns into a dogfight with say 3 turnovers and such.. in that case it's more like 21-20 type of thing.. that could go either way.

Defense steps up again and shuts down a pretty decent offense. Our offense isn't spectactular but does enough to win.

Sims starts and takes us all the way down the field on the first possession for a … Field goal

Offense flattens, we go down 7-3 & Rhule switches to HH in the 2nd. HH further develops chemistry with Thomas and they hook up for a few TDs. We win 34-10.

Guess what? Putting moisture back into Saturday forecast now saying showers and thunderstorms likely Saturday afternoon
