In Arizona, in an incredibly arid desert, a Saudi Arabian farm pumps water from ever deepening wells to flow over hay and alfalfa farms. They ship the feed back to Saudi Arabia to feed to livestock. The small farming communities no longer can get water from their traditional wells.

No, capitalism is not hurting America and Americans - true capitalism, that is. Crony capitalism and political capitalism (i.e. government) are doing more to harm this country. I don't know what people expect, but nothing is ever going to be perfect in this world. The message driven by certain factions that if every single situation & individual does not have a perfect life and everything needs to work out for them is a major problem, because they blame "capitalism." If you hate capitalism, you should hate socialism and communism, because those systems are a million times worse than what we have in America. Yet that is what is being pushed. Only those in power (elites) succeed in those horrendous systems. I am not an elite.

Not sure I understand. I had 1 son graduate from UNL (Raikes) several years ago. Youngest son a freshman at UNL (PGA Management program). Neither required me to cheer them on, other than to frequently remind them they are my backup retirement plan - so be successful!

Have a son at Creighton, who played on the golf team. Agonized a lot when he played junior golf, but when he played at CU I finally realized I could do nothing. So I just always looked on the bright side of everything to keep things positive, even when he wasn’t. (Also, my favorite daughter is at Creighton — so I am constantly conflicted)

I have a nephew in the PGA Managment Program that I think is a sophomore.

After the coaching changes we were closer, but definitely not the first few games. Unfortunately "close" is no where near acceptable based on the quality of competition. We shouldn't be close with the teams we barely beat or barely lost to. We have to be "close" to the likes of OSU and Michigan, not Purdue and Rutgers.

I think a person can see what coaching can do. Mickey Joseph and Bill Busch pulled them together after the change and at least got them inching toward a positive trajectory. I am hopeful that Rhule and staff move that trajectory by feet/miles, not inches.

The free round of golf for the with me is still available through Saturday for the first person to make it to my golf course. My avatar is the golf course logo and we are located in NE Nebraska. It is our raffle fun day. Will be 1/2 price green fees, an informal 1-person scramble, a silent auction all day, a food truck in the afternoon, then raffle drawing for $5,000 in cash prizes in between first and second round of Moonlight golf.

Just find me in the clubhouse (if I am not out golfing) and the first person to yell, "Go Big Red!" is the winner. Heck, I might even spring for the food truck.

1) If a normal citizen, in most areas closest to downtown and UM, probably a 7.
2) If a Husker fan, probably a 9.
3) If you wear a rainbow shirt and wave a Ukrainian flag, probably a 3.
4) If you are antifa, probably a 1.

And before anyone gets their undies in a bunch, this is satire. I haven't been to MPLS since before the pandemic. I have no desire to go there.
