I’m beginning to wonder if we don’t see more two TE sets with a FB. As far as the quitting thing and Betts, don’t let the door hit you in the *** on the way out (if true).

He's in line for major playing time, he's definitely in the top 4 until the freshman get up to speed.

22 personnel has been the talk of camp. Might be our base this year if we can't field enough WRs. I'll wait for actual confirmation first.

Well, if true that he has quit "4 a 2nd time", then its probably best for him and the team that he not be on the team any longer.

Dont want guys who quit...(twice)...when the going gets tough.

Dog days are almost over. You go through spring, summer, then the worst part of camp only to quit. Doesn't make much sense. That's the only reason I think it would be bogus, but kids are kids.

He had a concussion in spring game then got anohter one. If he quits it will be concussion related and I wouldnt blame him. Your health is more important than football.

A few things

1) Dean tends to pull things out of his arse. Not saying he is in this case (Rhule even said he had an injury in a practice presser), but this post doesn’t exactly calm the waters.

2) People are almost certainly overreacting

3) Still don’t think Betts will do much here, or anywhere else. His interview this spring had some admirable quotes, but it read to me like he came back for others and not himself.

He just does not seem to love the game the way you need to at this level to be successful.

Hope I’m wrong, because he obviously has a lot of talent.

He took f’ing 21 credit hours in one semester to be able to come back and play. There’s no way he’s quitting. He’s expressed great admiration and appreciation for his new coaches. If he’s injured that’s one thing, but use a little logic instead of preconceptions on these guys.

Again, I am pretty much always wrong (except about married dudes not being happy) but I have now heard from 2 people that he quit.

Not speaking for Betts or pretending to know what he thinks. I think it was easy to not love the game under the previous regime. I think with this staff it’s a lot easier. Give him a chance to have some success and it will be even easier.

Excited for the season no matter who’s on the team

Conference is going to absolutely blow, literally any team with a clue and some bounces can win 10+ with our schedule

If you can score 27 points a game in the Big Ten...you will finish with 9 wins. Period.
