Players and coaches will move into the dorms on Sunday. Fall camp starts Monday and you can feel the excitement pulsing through Husker nation.

However, before the coaches get to work in fall camp, they have a final recruiting weekend to deal with and it’s going to be a big one for the Huskers. As of right now, 34 recruits are expected to visit Nebraska football over the next three days with 15 players from the 2024 class and 19 in 2025.
We have talked about some of these recruits such as Christian Jones taking a visit, or four-star offensive tackle Grant Brix. Some 2025 quarterbacks will be on campus too, plus Caleb Benning, and here are some thoughts heading into a huge recruiting weekend for Nebraska football.

If we pull the top QB and top overall player(Brooks) from iowa… I might have to visit the emergency room to get a shot in my wiener. They say anything over 4 hours is dangerous and could cause permanent damage.

jayshawn Ross has announced a top five of Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee and Oklahoma. So, while we know the finalists there has been little indication of where the four-star will end up aside from naming his top schools. Michigan seems to be running out of room, and I'm not sure if Oklahoma would have room for Ross in the class should Nwaneri decide to become a Sooner. That leaves me with Nebraska and Penn State as the most likely landing spots out of Ross' top five. I could see the Sooners making a push for Ross if Nwaneri doesn't commit to Oklahoma, but that is an "if" for now. This is a toss-up for me, and while I am not ready to put in a Futurecast I see the Huskers as the eventual destination.

Prediction: Nebraska

Wow. Landing Ross after landing Prince and Lenhardt last year, that’s how you get a bad *** D-Line.
