Adam is no longer with the OWH and is starting his own channel again and has a good lineup of interviews this August.
He was asked about Frost and had some interesting things to share.
Only 20 minutes in so far.
I haven't heard it come up yet.Was he asked about the fraudulent ticket scheme he was involved with,
Involved with is a little strong. He got taken in by someone posing as a charity. He suffered as much damage from that as anybody. Was he asked about the fraudulent ticket scheme he was involved with,
On the thread about this at the time I can remember so OP that were not happening with AC as well.Involved with is a little strong. He got taken in by someone posing as a charity. He suffered as much damage from that as anybody.
As I said back then and will still say. SF was already a confusing subject before he came back to coach.I don’t believe Frost will be excepted like Frank Solich was back in April..
Be surprised if he ever comes back to Lincoln to be recognized as player/ head coach..
How so? Frost loves chew, pheasant hunting, football, and beer. And apparently attractive women. What's more Nebraskan than that? Yeah, he's cocky and kind of a douche, but so are a lot of people. As I said back then and will still say. SF was already a confusing subject before he came back to coach.
In truth while he is from Nebraska he is the least Nebraska person I have ever seen. Especially being raised in western Nebraska.

Apparently, I'm only 50% Nebraskan. How so? Frost loves chew, pheasant hunting, football, and beer. And apparently attractive women. What's more Nebraskan than that? Yeah, he's cocky and kind of a douche, but so are a lot of people.
Maybe Stanford will ”except” him back.I don’t believe Frost will be excepted like Frank Solich was back in April..

I’m sorry douchebag cheese eater visitors can’t be the grammar police.Maybe Stanford will ”except” him back.
As someone raised in Scottsbluff, I take offense to someone calling Wood River "western Nebraska"...As I said back then and will still say. SF was already a confusing subject before he came back to coach.

Wood River is almost dead center from an east west perspective as I recall. As someone raised in Scottsbluff, I take offense to someone calling Wood River "western Nebraska"...
Wood River is at MM 300 on I-80. Way more east than west. Prior to moving there, the Frosts were in McCookWood River is almost dead center from an east west perspective as I recall.
Scottsbluff. Alliance and Chadron disagree..Who cares? For all intents and purposes, anything west of Lincoln is Western Nebraska.
And anything east of memorial stadium should be considered Iowa.Who cares? For all intents and purposes, anything west of Lincoln is Western Nebraska.
That’s Greater Nebraska to youWho cares? For all intents and purposes, anything west of Lincoln is Western Nebraska.
Been a long time since I’ve had to remind myself of the Wood River speed trap on I-80. South central would be the most accurate depiction of Wood RiverWood River is at MM 300 on I-80. Way more east than west. Prior to moving there, the Frosts were in McCook
Much as I hate to say it, the day will come when Coach Osborne will pass. In a circumstance like that, I think Husker fans would be willing to accept SF back as a former player despite his dismal coaching record here.Unfortunate, but probably true. Can’t think of scenario where it would make sense, or a scenario where SF would want to. Possibly something like the 40th anniversary of the 97’ championship. IDK, maybe enough time will have passed by then.
Meh not wanting to play for Nebraska and instead went to Stanford. Hid in a closet, installed a finesse based west coast offense, finger pointing, not being a hard worker, I can go on.Apparently, I'm only 50% Nebraskan.
It wasn’t so much about not wanting to play for Nebraska as it being a QB who wanted to play for Bill Walsh and get a Stanford degree. I think that’s very understandable. Obviously that didn’t work out for him for several reasons out of his control. He could have gone somewhere else but he chose to come home to Nebraska. It probably would have been easier for him if he had gone elsewhere.Meh not wanting to play for Nebraska and instead went to Stanford. Yeah, I thought it was weak sauce, unlike Frost's drinks.TO blaming Riley and COVID for Frost’s failures.
What an embarrassment
Tom’s old and frail. Of course he’s going to offer excuses for his hand picked hire. Moos just did what he was told to do. Make no mistake, he was one of the main reasons Scott took the NU job.As far as TOs comments on Frost, would’ve suited better if he said sometimes things just don’t work out. Frost could have done from the get go what Rhule is doing. Humility is a more likable trait than arrogance
I can’t bring myself to like your post - but I agree, be better TO - every coach had to deal with COVID and blaming MR for failures in year one was a ***** move and to be doing it 3 years later was an utter disgrace.TO blaming Riley and COVID for Frost’s failures.
What an embarrassment
It's always been disappointing when a highly regarded Nebraska kid goes out of state, but back when Frost did it it was practically viewed as treasonous. I agree. The comparison to Solich is not a good one. Frost has never been a fan of the Nebraska fan and it has been that way since he was a player. And his behavior while coach here did not win him any points with the fans either. I think he will be more than happy to never set foot inside Memorial stadium again and I think very few fans will miss him. I wish him well. But as far as I am concerned he is nothing to us now.I don’t believe Frost will be excepted like Frank Solich was back in April..

I agree with this too. It was a transparent attempt at click bait ratings for Carriker to ask Osborne about Frost. What the hell did he think Osborne would say? He certainly was not going to be able to be blunt and to point out the real issues while still remaining kind to Frost. And so he was forced into the silly nonsense of blaming Riley and Covid. Bad questions from Carriker for whom I have little respect.Asking TO to slag Frost publicly is a little like asking a dad to denounce his son in public. But keep Riley out of the excuses. The dude had a nine win season and may have won 6 or more the next season had he simply told Eichorst he wasn't going to can Banker. He had the players to execute a competent 4-3 defense. And he wasn't a weirdo like Diaco. Frost took Riley's roster and proceeded to flatline.
I mean, that’s a little harsh. At the very least, he is the absolute worst head coach that has ever walked the sidelines.I agree. The comparison to Solich is not a good one. Frost has never been a fan of the Nebraska fan and it has been that way since he was a player. And his behavior while coach here did not win him any points with the fans either.
