So now we have the Bellevue West WRs both announcing live on Instagram tomorrow in the mid-morning.

Soooooooooo either they are both coming to Nebraska or they are both cancelling their visits to Nebraska because no way in hell do you announce for someone else, on the way to an OV to a school you aren't picking. Right?
Both gotta be N.

Hall wasn't answering Nebraska's calls for quite some time and his lack of interest in NU continued with the new staff. But in finding out that those SEC offers weren't commitable things changed. It was reported that Hall ran blazing fast at the Tennessee camp & still didn't get an offer (commitable). But when his Dad & little brother came to Rhule's camp & Dad sought out HCMR to chat.... things started to change. I think Nebraska's reported disinterest in Hall only came down to the fact that they were moving on after Hall wouldn't show one iota of interest. Kaelin being on board certainly helps but I think it really came down to Hall realizing a couple of weeks ago that he didn't have anywhere to commit. So he started looking at K-State and now the Huskers. Of course, then the Vols finally came around with a "real" offer but it might be too late!
Good insight. I'd also be a little worried he has appeared to be this disinterested in NU until now that he doesn't seem to have his top choices there.

Is Omaha on the upswing in talent? Crazy how many kids are/will be committing compared to before. I could be wrong but I count 11 Omaha metro kids signed or committed since Rhule took over.

I tried looking up that QB but couldn’t find when he played at IWCC. Was he a back up there or does anybody know any more about him?

Breakdown of this last big recruiting weekend before summer. How Hall probably ends up N. He ran 22 mph at Tennessee camp. 10.6 100, 6'10 high jumper. Mcmorris had 90 catches for 1300 yards last year. Jason Majiecak is on the D line now. Etc

Would like to see some Defensive Tackles and Linebackers on that list. Would we still take Campbell and Clark now that we landed the two receivers from Bellevue West? It seems we are already overloaded at receiver.
Not so worried about LB's because of all the big DB's who will add weight and can play LB. DT like Carlon Jones would be nice. A big body Jason Macijaicak just moved to D line so that helps. Also have Tyson Terry N for next years class.

Ernest Campbell — Another wide receiver to keep an eye on, Campbell can absolutely fly and while he’s not going to be the biggest receiver out there, he’s incredibly dangerous with the ball and those track times have more than just Nebraska interested.

Texas A&M is the only other visit so it will be interesting to see how Campbell compares the schools after the visit.
Grant Brix — One of Nebraska’s favorite offensive linemen in the 2024 class and one Matt Rhule went to go watch wrestle last January.
It’s big to get Brix back on campus as the Huskers have work to do with Kansas State and Oklahoma already having hosted the lineman and the view being he’s going to look heavily at those options. The lineman also made a midweek trip down to Alabama.

This would be one of the bigger recruiting wins if the Huskers can pull it off.
Kewan Lacy — The first official visit for a running back this cycle and it goes to the Lancaster running back that has put up interesting numbers in high school. At 6-foot, 205, Lacy has good size for the position and a nice frame for Nebraska to add to.

At Lancaster last year Lacy had nearly 1,000 total yards and 14 total touchdowns. He was more productive as a sophomore for the team running for 1,352 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Carter Nelson — Arguably the biggest visitor this weekend, Nebraska will get its chance to try to sell Nelson on staying home and playing for Nebraska instead of going to Georgia or Notre Dame.

The tight end is an unquestionably great athlete that will go into college ball as a really raw player. It’ll be interesting to note if the Huskers have a plan set up for Nelson and make it known to him how they hope to develop and ultimately utilize him moving forward.

Donovan Raiola is the lead recruiter for Brix. It'll be interesting to see the board's reaction regardless of Brix's decision.

Should Brix go elsewhere I'm not blaming Donovan

KSU is a bigger threat than people realize...they were the first to offer, they are coming off a Sugar Bowl appearance and I believe that is where his girlfriend is going

He could go anywhere and it wouldn't shock me too much

I think Flynt develops into a high quality OT or DE
