They look at wins, losses, rings and potential. Pretty simple. Until we show that we will lose guys.

If true, that's where pops needs to sit down with him and discuss integrity & couth... There's some things you just don't do that can have potential ramifications against you and your family down the line... burning a bridge with an institution so deep with the family is never a good idea... there's plenty of other really great tight ends out there being courted by other schools not called Nebraska that he can help influence...
Regardless of where he goes, give me a guy like Fidone over him all day long. I just cant buy the 8 man class D football kids until I actually see them against some real players.

If a local kid is being recruited appropriately/enthusiastically and ends up going somewhere else then I don't lose one second of sleep over it. Next. It was the weird dynamic where Nebraska was seemingly not interested in local kids that other P5 or successful G5 teams were all over that was mystifying to me. We all know the list.
