Do programs simply start arranging player for player trades?

Remember, there are no rules and no one enforcing rules. Sounds like a Bama move. Remember, they created extra coaching positions without any kind of resistance from a governing entity.

Bama didn’t create extra coaching positions, they like anyone else can only have 10.

I can't see how since schools have no control over the destination their athletes chose in the portal, They are not under contract with the school like a player is with a professional team. Am I missing something.

The SEC has some control, you can’t transfer within the conference after like February (don’t know the exact date). The conferences can set their own rules about transfers within the conference. I believe the SEC is the only one that does though.

They named them 'football analysts'. Bama just created the concept, carried it out, and no one called them out on it.
Who cares everyone can do it , why do OPs like yourself whine and ***** about stupid stuff. They weren’t doing anything outside the rules.

Instead of having signing days why not do a draft and let the bottom team get the first pick
Not sure how that would work in college. The vast majority of players are getting an education and goals of graduating and doing something other than football. Also I think many kids choose their college based on proximity to family and majors offered. I get where you are coming from but don’t think it’s feesible. It would have been nice to have this in place the last few years though.

I agree with you in the respect that it’s all up to the players wants in college. They have more power in college then the NFL. You couldn’t trade a player in college without his full on approval. Yes NFL has no trade clauses for some and controlled trade clauses for others. But in college, all players have the power of a no trade clause.

But saying all that. it could happen if certain conditions were right.

I don't think schools trading players is in the cards because the movement is about the rights of individual players (eg. NIL for owning their own commercial rights). Trading players is like trading property and that goes in the direction opposite to where the courts are moving.

Innovative cheating. Still corrupt.
Why do I feel a Lawrence Phillips mention coming?
And just what about the county scholarship program?
