I am not a golfer and never watch, but i've never heard of this happening before. Wow.
I’ve seen it happen on public courses. Way worse my kid got hit when a pretty good golfer hit a drive off the heel as my son was getting ready to putt on the adjacent green. It shot almost straight laterally.

I once had a ball from the parallel fairway hit the post of my cart top right in front of my face. It could have killed somebody.

I’ve seen pros on Tv hit fans often. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen another pro get hit. I did see Craig Stadler hit a drive on a par 4 at the Phoenix Open right between the hole and a guy about to hit a put. I was standing right behind Stadler. He just turned around smiled at me and shrugged his shoulders.

Got to love the club pro Block at even par after three rounds and currently 7 strokes off the lead.

I wish more courses were as difficult as that one. Man that was fun. Good for Brooks. Very confident human being and a damn good golfer when he is put together. Hovland is a stud too. Always seems to be in contention.

I quit watching when he took a 2 shot lead. I used to be a big Koepka fan. Great player who made a bad choice IMO.
I don’t blame him, especially considering he needed more than a year off for his knee to recover

The coverage showed as little of Koepka as possible, instead being forced by the PGA’s own bad hubristic choice to focus on the teaching pro who finished 15th

I’m still laughing imagining what the PGA Tour powers that be had going through their heads when it dawned on them their beloved Wanamaker would be won by a member of the rival tour they created with too much pride and too little foresight

I am just a casual golf fan and don't really understand all the resentment. Dude went to LIV and probably makes a ton more money playing a game. If you could leave your job/profession and go somewhere doing the exact same thing and make a ton more, would you? In fact, I read an article somewhere talking about young people in their career will make a ton more money by bouncing from one agency to another. It was all about how retaining people by paying them more is much cheaper than constantly turning over and retraining new guys. I really would love for someone to give me a good reason why all the LIV guys are getting all this hate.

I love the PGA and it’s tradition of having the greatest golfers in the world competing against each other almost every weekend. LIV screwed with my tv golf enjoyment.

here's the CEO of the PGA of America acting like a complete ***** for your enjoyment:

remember - LIV never needed to exist & the hubris of the PGA is what led to it. don't hate the player, hate the visionless prideful dicks who 'ruined' the game

We might have read the same article!

But it appears that the code has been cracked...sticking around at your job will more than likely mean you never get close to what you can make by job hopping.

You will never be more valuable to a company as you are the day you are hired. The more times you can do that in your career the more money you will end up making.

It is a lot easier to go from 50K to 55K by getting a new job than it is to get a 10% raise at your current job.

the PGA Tour has taken exponentially more money from the Saudis than the LIV players

the morally superior folks who condemn individuals for doing the same thing their beloved corporation does conveniently and repeatedly overlook this fact

Would love to have known what he said to Brooks - whatever it was it didn’t appear to be “great round”.
