NPG to portal

3rd team. Remember how excited we were when we landed this 4 star. Good luck to him. Hope he does well in life. I was just going to pose the question to the board on how many guys hit the portal yet this week. Seems like there will be some quiet retirements coming over the next few months.
Technically I think some guys could wait most of the summer before announcing. That might let them cram some free summer classes in towards graduation.
I think they keep a scholarship towards attaining the undergraduate degree should they decide to leave football. I believe that it's 10 slots when a coaching changed has been made.
Yeah I forgot that. In that case they’ll probably just disappear off of the official roster

That's being polite. He looked like he was 160lbs after 3 trips through the training table. I think he injured his shoulder early on and maybe that hindered his development.

But when a new staff comes in and your kid doesn't do any better with them, maybe it ain't the staff.
Guy rode the pine for 4 years. Either win the job, play special teams/help team or move on to a more appropriate level of football. Don’t ***** about your standing in year 4. Total whiff

Kid did not pan out so it is the coaches fault. Which sucks for everyone and I am sure he tried hard and did the best he could. There’s all kinds of things, but something as simple as this could burn bridges real fast-
coaches: “we’ll always be here for you even after your time here is over”
NPG: “hey coach could you help me with portal process?”
coaches: “….. (crickets)….”
Seems like frost had a higher number of players injured compared to other teams

Guess we have a ton of bad coaches out there all over the country because every fing program has players who just don't pan out.
Not a good look for NPG. I assume he's not getting much attention in the portal and this won't help at all if he is..
He was nuts here at NU. He faked a hammy injury in a scrimmage so Carriker didn't blow him up.
