Just watched the interview with Solich and a reporter actually asked Frank about the curse. 
Frank said it wasn't his family who put a curse on anyone but if they had there would be a few others with a curse on them.

Mike Riley was a better head coach than Scott Frost.
I'd be willing to give Frost a warm enough welcome for a 1997 team reunion if needed.

Major props to Coach Rhule, Trev and T.O for making this happen. It's been 20 years. Rhule is doing everything right from a PR standpoint so far. Now, let's get back to the winning tradition here at Nebraska!!

I'm happy for Frank, he put a helluva lot into the Husker program as a player and a coach. Things didn't go as well as any of us hoped, and I'm sure Coach Solich wishes the program could have achieved stratosphere results as the HC like the program did from the 60's through the 90's (well, he did enjoy some in 1999 and 2000).
It's time to celebrate his successes as a major contributor to the program, he earned the accolades coming tomorrow!

I dont see how this can be anything but positive for us. I hope it doesnt devolve into a pissing match about the past.

He and his wife I believe were still seeing area Drs just a few years ago. They’ve been around some but have been very discreet.
They were teammates on the 1965 Nebraska team that lost to Alabama for the national title in the 66 Orange bowl…
That’s my point… kinda remember Frank driving our FB program into the ground, leaving the cupboards pretty bare from a Talent standpoint. Just kinda overall ****** recruiting. Seemed pretty comparable. Just wondering how/why Frank is so different. Older?
Because I would challenge people stating that Frank was an effective head coach. He drove the program into the ground pretty quickly. Recruited for ****. He was a great assistant coach. Good player. NOT a great head coach. Terrible.
9-3 his final year here. Nothing to brag about considering where Nebraska was at, but with Bo as his DC, he was getting the ship turned back around.
Look how close Bo brought us into taking us over the hump. Frank wasn't going to do any worse.
Frost didn't have a single winning season with all of the support in the world.
That's fine if you don't think Solich was great, but to equate his failure to Frost's.... Come on.
