I would love to have Raiola. But, honestly, if you were 18 years old and the #1 player in the country, why would you come to a program that hasn't been to a bowl in 7 years and the biggest accomplishment is stealing the Hogeyes' Hy-Vee trophy?

My best guess at this moment is that he officially commits to Georgia on his official visit there presently scheduled for June. Obviously things could still change but if I were forced to place a bet right now that would be it.
Then he needs to announce he is going to Georgia and get it over with , the kid played Nebraska big time he knew he was going to Georgia the minute Decomitted from OSU
What truth? Certainly not what you posted. If he goes to Georgia, so be it. But he didn’t play Nebraska. He opened the eyes of a lot of recruits to the huskers who weren't considering coming to visit, but they came and loved it.

How has he been disingenuous? He’s a 17 or 18 year kid making a big decision. Do some people genuinely believe he never considered Nebraska? That all he was doing was intentionally playing Nebraska just for the fun of it?
If you want to call him wishy washy, I guess you could make that argument, but who is surprised that a 17 year old kid that is being courted by the best universities in the nation is having trouble making a decision?
I’m guessing if he isn’t going to Nebraska, he told his uncle personally and didn’t play him as you suggest.
That's your opinion which you are certainly entitled to have, but no where have I read he is a lock to UGA. But with Riley's comment about not wanting to compete, like he does, and NU starting to follow other QBs it feels like he could be leaning to UGA. I think the coaches all know, he is taking his official first week in June alone with several other top targets and commits, if he is trending UGA like many think I believe that's when he announces. If he doesn't announce then he won't sign with UGA.
Who wins UGA's QB competition could effect it. One is in his 4th year, former 4 star, has not play any meaningful snaps, the 2nd is entering his 3rd year, only played 4-5 snaps and former 5*, the 3rd is entering his 2d year, was scout team QB, at one time was a 5* but dropped to a 4. At present he is number 2 all time in GA HS history in passing yards, trailing Trevor Lawrence.
Look, the best QB your team has ever had was a QB the fans did not want and the coaches did not want. It literally took dumb luck and injuries for your coach to play Bennett.
No HS kid is looking at the UGA coaching staff and saying "Maybe they can turn me into the next Bennett...oh wait, they never even gave him a scholarship, the coaches didn't want to play him and the fans freaked out when he had to start"

Was thinking the same thing. If he goes to Georgia we will almost certainly see him in the portal in a year or two. What class is his brother? Could he end up competing against his brother for snaps here.
No one makes grown men follow the day-to-day practice news of teenagers and early twenty year olds either. It’s part of it. Get a clue
You clearly know nothing about what happened. JT Daniel's was undefeated as a starter. He won the starting job, was injured and couldn't win the job back. Bennett was a walk-on, he was 5'8" 160 coming out of hs, but he was on scholarship the last 3 years.
I don't know what DR is looking for, maybe it's the opportunity to win NC, UGA has the staff and talent to provide that opportunity. Maybe it's to be developed into the number 1 draft pick, UGA can also provide that, Matt Stafford is proof of that.
DR is, best staff in the country and let's se d you produce evidence it isn't. Rhule has been average in poor conferences, with barely a 50 % winning percentage. If not for family connections DR wouldn't have them in too 20. No shot at anything more tan bowl eligible, maybe in top half of big 10 but unlikely. NU has become a joke the last 10 years.
Matt Stafford was developed under this staff?
I would say you could claim Georgia can develop the number 1 draft pick if it was this current staff… going back a dozen years or so doesn’t give Georgia an edge with the current staff.
Clearly Georgia is positioned to do well with any top recruit in the nation. But I wouldn’t use Stafford as a number 1 pick as a reason for DR to commit to Georgia.
