Yeah the Deion insecurity/obsession with a lot of folks on this board is pretty telling...in so many ways. I suspect it's one part worried they may have made a better hire than we did (which they may have as he's beating us pretty badly so far), one part insecure about how far we've fallen and a lot of posters don't know the meaning of "act like you've been there." Probably also a small part racist dumbasses who would give just about anything to see Deion fail because they don't like his "style"...unfortunately.

It’s not that weird. Honestly, Deion was arguably the best hire available this year and we didn’t get him…for whatever reason. Some of us will let it play out and hope it was the right call not to hire him, while other, much more insecure folks, will obsess about him and try to convince themselves and anyone willing to listen, how much he’s gonna suck and implode and leave if he’s successful and can’t coach and lose the locker room to all that talent and etc, etc, etc. Human nature I guess?

Just let things play out. No need to defend the Colorado coach, Iowa coach, or any other opposing team’s coach on a husker board.
