Lots of cfb coaches have quirky rules, but there's a difference between being quirky and alienating or mistreating players. Coaches have to know where that line is.

I had a high school coach, He was obsessed with stupid **** like that. We had to wear these long, itchy, cheap, red and white sucks that never stayed up.
Yep, this is super HS. And for some kids it will work for them. There are tons of kids/players that need it or want it BUT with the ease of transfer now...it will be really easy to get sick of it.
I remember my high school coach having specific rules and the star players not having to follow them the way the rest of us did.

Prancing around in shades, a hat and a coat and calling kids out about the color of their socks isn't good coaching behavior. Rules for thee but not for me. Then you've got the fact that they're filming everything and posting it online. I think it's bush league. If he embarrasses his star players and posts that stuff online, I would be surprised.
