I like when my wife is crazy drunk.

There’s always that sweet spot where I have to figure out whether to get her more drunk or get her the hell out of wherever we are before she gets sloppy though.

I would suppose, drunk and screaming outside the office door while you are conducting a meeting would be time to get her the hell out.

turg would bring immediate respect back to wichita, a tradition rich program. he's a fine coach who has won at every level. i hope he returns. very well could replace self if he hangs it up due to heart issues, albeit i believe those are likely solved now.

WICHITA, Kan. (WBJ) - Former Wichita State University men’s basketball coach Gregg Marshall will be cashing checks from the school every two weeks for the next six years.

Marshall resigned Tuesday following allegations of physical and verbal abuse to players and staff during his tenure, collecting a $7.75 million buyout to part ways with the university.

According to his separation agreement, that will be paid out in sums of $48,076.92 every two weeks beginning Dec. 11.

A total of 156 equal payments will pay Marshall $7.5 million.

A separate agreement related to the coach’s departure pays the remaining $250,000 in a lump sum.

Dave Stallworth in the Final Four in the mid 60’s. Kevin Penner getting hit in the face at College World Series. Greatest pickoff play of all time with, I think it was Gene’s son who was on base against Miami.

I think that is a program that had better be ready to never really be good again.
I wish Wichita State went back to the Missouri Valley. The Shockers need to go back to beating up on Mo Valley teams while always being on the verge of going on probation.

Gene Stephenson is a huge pos.
I’ve heard that too, but Marshall was definitely one. I spent a year attending WSU. Their fans and the city is the biggest trash heap I’ve ever encountered. Sorry for those that live there. But it was not a good experience.

As a person who has been to my share of games at the old Henry Levitt Arena and now Koch Arena they have had some pretty good teams. Marshall and his crazy drunk wife are still in the ICT somewhere.
That is true. Still hanging out in wichita.

Stopped in Wichita on way home from b12 champ game at kfc, barely opened the door and 2 homeless ***** hounded us for money , slobbering all over the car. Was sketchy enough for 4 20 year olds to nope the hell out of that shitfuck town.

Turgeon apparently is not interested. Wonder if WSU might offer it to Danny Manning? I don’t think that would be a very good hire, but he is a legend in Kansas and college basketball does love those celebrity coaches.

The key is getting her home to bed while she remains borderline conscious.

I have several horror stories about hickata. I’ll save the stories. The west side of that town is total sketch. But in the short time I was there, I saw no redeeming qualities there. It literally is a town completely in the middle of nowhere.

As someone who lives in Wichita, its not much different from Omaha. Every city in america is a ******** if youre in the wrong part of town. Wichita is no different in that regard. However there is a TON of long time locals who have a tremendous amount of prode in this city who have worked hard to reshape it. I left and went to upstate Washington for 6 years and just moved back. Upon returning it was clear that prigress toward reshaping this place has been made. Im a chef here and know a lot of local business owners. They are prideful people who are genuinely good people. I have had my fair share of all the negatives stated in this thread while in Omaha.....
