Wait, is that a "confidence level of 4"?

You know what, **** it, I will still take that!
I don't know what any of the crystal ball stuff means

the fact the "experts" can change them on a whim makes them completely worthless IMO but this is positive news for NU so I posted it because, despite what the many haters and losers claim, that is what I like to do

The crystal ball is an amazing marketing toll...

I mean, I would rather have the crystal ball saying he is coming to NU rather than saying he is going to UGA!~

I think you are right, the 'experts' can change their predictions....but I think there is also some sort of metric that takes into account how early in the process an expert puts in their prediction, how much confidence is attached to it at that time, etc - it kind of feels like those metrics over time point to who might be better (or worse) when comapred to their peers when it comes to predicting recruiting. Those recruiting analysts (not the ones here, ha) have a little bit of reputation at stake when it comes to making those calls and I think there is a competition between those analysts to be known as 'the best' or at least 'when I say it's going to happen, I have a pretty high likelihood of being correct.' So my take is...yeah you can change your prediction all you want, but there is a 'penalty' of sorts for doing so, a reduction in overall reputation score - the ones who make their predictions early, stand by it and are correct will have a better ranking over time. Just my reading of the tea leaves is all, no real data or science behind what I said.

I think they should do something wild like cut off a finger every time they get a crystal ball wrong. And your not allowed to change a pick. Then it would really mean something.

Georgia hasn’t signed a QB in this class, so it wouldn’t surprise us that Dylan could be Kirby Smart’s #1 target..

They just offered a four star in that class. Whether Daylon goes there or not it’s not gonna make a difference to Georgia. They just slot in another four or five star. Be just another fish in a big ocean of talent.

NU has been such a **** show for so long that it makes me uncomfortable that he is thinking of choosing the Huskers. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever that the #1 qb recruit in the nation would come to NU other than nepotism and some old dudes telling him to...which is messed up as well. Nebraska has been arguably the worst power 5 team over the last half-decade, and is at the beginning of a rebuild that will likely take the entirety of Dylan's career. Rhule seems great, he is certainly a salesmen but he has no championships, and won nothing of substance to justify this sort of recruit coming to Nebraska right now. Four years from now maybe. I suppose if we make a bowl and show great improvement then it will make more sense.

Yes NU has been a **** show. But what you mentioned in this very post shows how truly clueless you are in terms of recruiting.

You do understand that me being negative about the Huskers automatically makes me 95% more likely to be right? You being some sort of retreaded homer guarantees your takes will be completely wrong. Literally nothing has happened to Nebraska to justify we will win more than 5 games...best players are gone or injured...replacements are young or worse from a team that won 3 games against weakest schedule known to man. Rhule hasn't won anything of substance...good coach, I like him, we will win at some point, not soon.

Who on this board gets recruiting? We have had top 25 classes forever and still have the worst roster in power 5. Every single turd on this board rings their bell for the next guy who won't be any good. I understand being excited for something new and choking on kool-aid but literally every poster is wrong all the time. I am just making a very clear prediction that Dylan will regret coming here if he is persuaded by money or dad or uncle or Rhule or lack of competition. The only way it works is if he brings a half-dozen 5 stars with him.

Wandale's transfer was in the same category and signified the end of the Scott Frost era. He was a kid who was far too talented for what we put on the field... got everything he wanted and still couldn't stand it because our situation was so shiite...he then goes home and blows up for fricken Kentucky.
Obviously not you. You are the only turd to post this nonsense.

Transparent. The reason it makes you uncomfortable is because as long as we start getting these recruits your beloved Iowa teams will never beat us again.

didn't we just see a team go from no bowl to national title game in a coach's first season?

like, less than 5 weeks ago?

Sadly you are talking to an Iowa fan. They only know two things, below average football and average football.

Like I have said before, you know your team sucks when the first thing you do is look at your schedule and either cheer that it looks like a 7 win season or cry that you got hosed and have to play OSU, PSU and Michigan.
