100% cramp. I saw him cramping up on the previous possession when they knocked the pass over the backboard. He started to raise his hand to the sideline, but put it down fast and started trying to crouch and stretch.Probably right. I was afraid it was an Achilles the way he went down.
Dilly dilly!anytime Nebraska wins and creighton loses is a great day

Man the refs for whatever reason have really been kind to us tonight…kind of shreds the narrative of refs always giving the tourney teams the benefit.
None of the Jays’ conference losses are “bad,” but they are missing opportunities for quality road wins. Big hole in their tournament resume. Was a hell of a game. Not a bad loss at all.
Could’ve been? But I still wouldn’t have hurried him off that quickly as it could’ve done some damage. He looks fine now. Might have been a thigh cramp. Unlike a calf, you can’t just stretch those away. Just have to hydrate and let it pass.
It sure helps when the 3s go in. Huh - shoulda thought of that earlier!Thought this team would only win 1 more after their performance at home against NW. Seems Fred has his guys working as 1 unit and focused to try maximize opportunities to win a few more games to finish the regular season. Kudos to them.
I wish I had your faith. Based on history, now that we have some excitement, we won't win another game lol.I cannot wait to fade this league during tourney time
Great W boys!
It sure seems to work that way.. we get most favorable calls against Penn at, Maryland and RutgersNon old school big ten, so we get a fair shake.
Kinda was last night. Wil Cher’s unexpected production was the difference last night.Okay Wilcher your not Tominga.
Good for Wilcher to finally have a good game but he sucks and hurts the team 95% of the time.Kinda was last night. Wil Cher’s unexpected production was the difference last night.
Soooooo fun to watch the effort they’re playing with on both ends.Have to luv the way this team is playing at the end of the year..
He’s been good at times in the past. Let’s hope this continues. We need himGood for Wilcher to finally have a good game but he sucks and hurts the team 95% of the time.

come on - he usually banks one in from the top of the 3 point lineIf Wilcher goes his usual 0-5 we don’t win that one. He was at home.
If your going to root for the jays make it Kansas Jayhawks at least they’ve won national championship titlesI root for the Jays but they are pillow-soft on the road.
They’ll have one more opportunity at Villanova and will have a huge home game against Marquette next Tuesday..None of the Jays’ conference losses are “bad,” but they are missing opportunities for quality road wins. Big hole in their tournament resume.
I want Keita to get more playing time, but not at the expense of Walker's minutes. NU needs Walker on the floor as much as possible in order to be competitive, so I really wish Fred would get over his aversion to playing them together. It worked out fine last night because the shots were falling and because Rutgers often failed to convert on its second-chance opportunities. But I feel like Keita's rebounding and defense are too valuable for him to be confined to the bench.Interesting that Keita only got 4 minutes of playing time, after having a great game against Wisky. We had 4 starters with 32+ minutes of PT, so not a lot of substitutions. In hindsight, a good decision on that because of how much full court pressure RU applies and Walker can handle the press better (much, much better). Hopefully Keita gets rid of his stone hands by next season.
Creighton is in fine shape if they want to finish 3rd or 4th in the Big East and get in the tourney as an 8 or 9 seed. That's not a terrible season by any means, but this team should have done better than that. They’ll have one more opportunity at Villanova and will have a huge home game against Marquette next Tuesday..
Their slowdown offense has lowered their margin for error significantlyCreighton is in fine shape if they want to finish 3rd or 4th in the Big East and get in the tourney as an 8 or 9 seed. That's not a terrible season by any means, but this team should have done better than that.
I never bought the hype about the Jays being a Final Four or even Elite 8 team. But the Big East was very winnable this year, and their inability to close out road games has been costly. They also dropped a pair of should-be-wins in Las Vegas when the VB Final Four was being played in Omaha. Just can't seem to close the deal against quality opponents unless it's on their home court.Their slowdown offense has lowered their margin for error significantly
They bit off more than they chewed early in the year with that schedule.Creighton is in fine shape if they want to finish 3rd or 4th in the Big East and get in the tourney as an 8 or 9 seed. That's not a terrible season by any means, but this team should have done better than that.
for the "couple more years" crowd:
the point is 2 of our 3 best players won't be back next year and all we've accomplished in 5 years is getting on the NIT bubbleI don't get the point. This moron spends his life schilling for Creighton, and a casual review reveals that he makes Sean Callahan look like Edward R. Murrow by comparison. His tweet is the textbook definition of salty butthurt two months later. It's warms my heart that his first thought after another Creighton loss is to try and salve his wounds by trolling Nebraska. So pathetic.
