Georgia, Nebraska, USC and Oregon

95% of what’s left is gonna come down to $. How much does a #1 HS player cost anymore?Georgia, Nebraska, USC and Oregon
I'm not sure money is the top priority for the Raiolas. I think a path to an NFL career is more important to them. JMO.95% of what’s left is gonna come down to $. How much does a #1 HS player cost anymore?
We gonna pony up with the big schools? Hope so…
Yeah I agree. Duckies suck. Would never go to Eugene. Been there and yes the area good for hiking but Eugene is nothing!Boy one of those schools looks a little out of place from the others![]()
That’s why I didn’t say 100%. Obviously hard to quantify it, but it’ll DEFINITELY be a factor. We haven’t paid out for truly ‘elite’ talent with the exception of maybe Palmer, but what we’ve paid for our top players vs what actual Contenders are paying out, are exponentially different.I'm not money is the top priority of the Raiolas. I think a path to an NFL career is more important to them.
National Titles, Legacy, Heisman Trophies, and ?Oregon?Georgia, Nebraska, USC and Oregon
We have 3 huge feathers in our cap. 1) His dad LOVES Nebraska. 2) His Uncle is our OL coach. 3) Matt Rhule NFL head coach running an NFL offense that he will start the moment he touches down in Lincoln. An article I read indicated those 4 schools were recruiting him the hardest. That's a slight difference from being the top 4 most favored teams. Regardless, I think Nebraska is in a good place with him. I'd guess when it comes to Nebraska, he would like to see what Rhule gets done on the field. I would guess he might attend the Spring game to see the Rhule offense/defense.

He will likely decide before the spring game. QB recruiting is basically done by the spring time for most schools anymoreIt may be that he is waiting (maybe he's got some brain cells) and wants to make his decision after watching another year of Riley and Rhule. He should know that Georgia is going to go after the next 5 star qb that comes along.
A lot more for him to consider yet.
Ask Arch Manning how much texass payed..95% of what’s left is gonna come down to $. How much does a #1 HS player cost anymore?

Valuation north of $3M.Ask Arch Manning how much texass payed..
Doubt it. Was just On3’s assessment.Per year?
Honestly I don't think it's only or mostly about money in Raiola's case. Dad has to be flush from his NFL days. I think their number one objective is finding the best path to the NFL for young Raiola. My opinion on the situation.Doubt it. Was just On3’s assessment.
Point same…. We’re gonna need to spend like a contender to be a contender. It’s all about money. Mostly![]()
Dominic made north of $20M in the league. The Raiola's don't need money. I agree with you while NIL will play a factor. If Dominic played 12 tears in the NFL his pension is very nice. Not rich but comfortable. I know a former RB who played about 8 years and gets 8K a month. That will go on for the rest of his life. The longer you played the higher it is.
He’s certainly wealthy by todays standards, but we certainly can’t count on ‘virtue’ when it comes to elite talent, IMHO. Not saying by any stretch that they’re ‘all about the money’, but anyone saying it’s not gonna be a major factor here is deluding themselves. Don’t know how much ‘legacy’ is worth monetarily, but if we’re not willing to spend like other programs, we’re gonna keep missing out on (sorely absent) elite players.
Wtf?!? lol…
So Brady is already able to get his NFL pension the day he retires? Damn that is crazy.Just to build on this:
NFL players can start receiving a pension at age 45, and Dom is 44.
Most don't start getting their pension until they're in their 50s, though knowing the shortened lifespan of NFL players, that's a gamble for sure. One study tracked NFL players who were in the league from 1959-1988 and found that their average life expectancy was just 59.6 years.
Pension payouts averaged about $43,000/year up to $100,000, in 2021-22.
