The NFL is such a copy cat league. Kliff and about 10 other young offensive minded guys got jobs because Sean McVay was a huge success in LA. Theres one Sean McVay. He works for the Rams.

The General Zac Taylor also got a job because of this

it worked in some places (cincy) and not others (green bay, AZ)

If you are Kliff you gotta be like "Wait...so you are firing me, I still get paid, I am still super young and I never have to work again?"

**** YES

Was a lot cheaper to can Kliff than Murray. Let's see who they bring in, I think going with a defensive guy would be a disaster. Murray needs a very strong personality in charge.

For now. He is expected to step down I've heard.

Once the video game clause was first exposed then removed, this was the only result for the season. Murray got his bag and frankly on games looks like he wants to win but doesn’t look like the practice days and time to prepare are used on Cardinals activities.

Cards are kind of a clown show. Signed Kyler to early, gave up on Rosen after taking him 10th overall and after only one season...hired Kliff who prolly wasn't really qualified to begin with....that's just off top of my head.

Tread carefully Sean Payton. Neither Russ nor Murray are tall enough to see the middle of the field very well.

I heard the saints still have Sean Payton under contract, they want tons of picks to release/trade him.

I think they'll get real reasonable real fast should Payton wish to coach again. If Payton stays retited they get absolutely zilcho...if he wants back in, they'll make a business decision and get whatever they can...plus I don't think there is any animosity there is there?

“First rounder plus more” is what I’ve seen reported. I don’t see how Denver could pay that after all the picks they sent to Seattle. But Denver and good judgment haven't gone together for a long time now

He said on one of the pregame shows that the most important thing to him was the team ownership and front office. I think that eliminates a few teams.

Denver is going to have to settle for sloppy seconds on the coaching front. I find it hard to believe an A lister is taking that job. If I had to bet, I bet they hire a cordinator most fans couldn't pick out of a lineup.

I'd be surprised if any coach worth a crap touches either the Denver or Arizona jobs with a 10 foot pole. Both organizations have guaranteed ridiculous sums to horrible QB situations.

while I agree, the broncos having the richest ownership in the entire NFL is a wild card

If Harbaugh and Sean Payton decline (which they probably will), the Broncos might just hire their current defensive coordinator, Ejiro Evero. Not a splash hire, but at least his side of the ball wasn't a total **** show.

They should snap up Lovie. He’s used to coaching without a QB.

Lovie is a tremendous culture builder. I desperately want him back in the building in Chicago in any capacity.

a team committed to a true tampa 2 in that division might be interesting - the scheme has been successful in the past against uber-elite QBs like Mahomes, and the Denver secondary is a strength

a guy like Isaiah Simmons in AZ could be a new fangled MLB in that scheme & look like Brian Urlacher (much better player & person than known drug user aaron rodgers)

He'd not the last person that Kyler Murray's contract is going to screw over.
That may be worse than Jerry Jones giving DP his ridicules contract coming off an injury. Owners are stupid and money means nothing to then. It's like playing monopoly to them.

At least he wouldn't have to worry about guys wearing hoodies in AZ.
Funnily enough my sister works near the neighborhood where Frost bought his new shack and she said she recently saw Michael Phelps slinking around Sprouts with his hoodie up, trying to go incognito. I guess it didn't work so well.
