Javonte Jean-Baptiste was a signing day commit to OSU over NU. He only has one year of eligibility remaining, but I wonder if NU would have a look. He played well in spot duty in their semifinal game.

I cant remember, Is he related to Stanley Jean-Baptiste? Did some google searching before posting, and it seems not. Anyhow I think we were in the running for him coming out of college.

Yes, would be an excellent addition to the roster. There's a lot of really good players yet in the portal that could help out next season

Yes- he was gonna sign with Nebraska that morning, school got canceled for weather I think in New Jersey (Bergen Catholic- teammate of Rahmir); Urban Meier got him on the phone since he was off school and talked him into going to OSU.
