That stuff lasts about 4 seconds on a shelf here and the entire case is gone. Wellers too
I’m in for a rough tomorrow, started with bv toasted caramel, then bloody Mary’s, a few moscows, some Busch lights and now gona finish the night with Windsor waters
Coors, Fireball Jell-O shots that I made, a Duck Fart (Kahlua, Bailey's and Crown layered in a shot glass) and served 37 friends who came over for an early NYE party, 4:00 pm -8:00 pm. Hey, I am old! I can stay up, but none of our friends can or want to. The wife likes to be in bed by 8pm as well. I also shot off about a dozen pop bottle rockets. (In front of my wife's minister, who I also ski with). It is criminal to shoot off fireworks around here on the 4th as dry as we are, but with 12 inches plus of snow I say, "Go for it".
Hey, Tonight I gave one of my ski buddies a bottle of Buffalo Trace that has been sitting in my closet for a couple of years.
Blantons is the one people collect for the horses on top of the bottle? Correct? I have a friend who went back to Kentucky last year and toured the bourbon distilleries. He gave a bottle to one of our friends whose birthday was this past Wednesday.

I always have a dry January. Not just booze, but unhealthy food too. It gives my body a chance to reset after the holidays. I am sure you have experienced this since you stopped drinking. . I ski at least 3-4 days a week with the same guys. Sometimes you would think my self imposed moratorium has been placed on them too. I never bring it up and they always do. They make weird comments like not being able to go have and beer and burger after we are done. I have never ever hinted that I will not go into a bar while not drinking. I can drink water in a bar just as easily as I can anywhere else and I still have to eat. My younger brother is just as bad. We typically go with our wives to the country club on Thursday evening.. I always drink a Manhattan followed up a by a Manny’s (a beer brewed in Seattle). He never thinks I want to go in January. Of coarse I want to go. I do and have a great time.
It’s popular because the horse is on top of the bottle,I have cousin who use to own a liquor store told me there is much better tasting bourbons and most people buy it because it’s unique looking…
I had some Angel Envy for New Year’s and Christmas and that is some real smooth stuff..
