Dang. It will be interesting to see where he ends up on the field. Looks like Megatron as a receiver and Micah Parsons as a DE. LOOKS like. As somebody once said, he might look like Tarzan and play like Jane. We will see.

Honestly hope they put him on defense. He has a huge frame on him and can grow into a freak on that side of the ball.

Probably translate to 4.4 on turf which for a kid that's 6'5" 200+ lbs... holy hell. We HAVE to figure out a way to get this kid involved early in his career.

I don't think that'll be the case with him. How many receivers around the country are playing backer and rush end when they are on defense? He's getting blocked by the biggest strongest kids on the field all game when he plays on D. Hopefully that's turned him into a grown A$$ man as a receiver. He shows signs of that with the couple highlights of him blocking for his teammates, kid is mean.

Not saying he is going to be DK but similar height, MC is obviously smaller weight and muscle-wise, but DK was 4.33 laser at the combine

I sure trust Rhule to find his best position(s) a lot more than Frost

IF you can get him big enough to play edge he would be a better weapon at TE. He could fit in multiple positions depending on how big he gets. Big WR. Hybrid TE/WR. Edge guy maybe. Great potential. His NFL comp is probably DK Metcalf 🔥

I agree, could end up being a scary TE if he wanted to be. Might even have more upside NFL potential at that position. Key is a kid has to really want that. Very different position, way less glory typically but in the right system you could end up with more targets...a la travis kelce. He's already bigger and more athletic than Noah Fant was coming out of high school. How crazy is that?

He potentially could be somebody DCs have to game plan around.

It won’t matter in the words of our new off coordinator it’s a position-less offense guys move to all spots and are inner changeable!

He's a 6-foot-5, 196-pounder who runs a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash, a 10.46 in the 100-meter dash and has a vertical leap of 41.8 inches. That combination of size, speed and athleticism are what make him one of the highest-ranked players in the state's history.

Can't wait to get him the s&c program and add about .5 seconds to that.

I kid, mostly.

No. Wants to run track to try to reach some record goals. He’ll be able to participate in summer 7 on 7s I think and get immersed in the play book.
you don't need much of a playbook for 6'5" running sub-4.4

just go long, big fella

Seems like a good time to post his film again.
Some nice pass rushes, a few decent blocking plays, but my fave play may be at 2:20 where he seemed a tad slow to react but then hustled all the way downfield to save a TD.
