Prime is going with the Scott Frost strategy of bringing his Non-Power 5 staff with him. Let's hope that leads to the same results that it did for Frost.

I don't think some people understand that Sanders is not an established coach, he's a celebrity posing as a coach. I understand why some kids would flock to him because of his celebrity status. Some kids are all about the shinny new things but I have a feeling this will not end well once the shine wears off.

I will take a coach who can develop over some guy who I believe can only motivate for so long. Sanders better have some damn good assistants who can teach up because Sanders can only use his prime method for so long.

Sanders is fantastic at recruiting no doubt, but as far as coaching kids up I have my doubts, but we'll find out soon enough. You look at most newly hired head coaching grades from the media and Rhule is an A hire while some list Sanders is a B hire, I wonder why? ;)

Most things new lose their glitz and shine once they are tested over time but once in awhile some things become classic and endure and that's what most of us happens with Rhule in charge.

We are living in a glass house and throwing stones at CU.
No, we're just in a unique place where we can see where this will be going, and soon.

Especially with this provision in place:

"According to the Pac-12's new rules, all athletic scholarships will be guaranteed for four years and "can neither be reduced nor canceled provided the student-athlete remains in good standing and meets his/her terms of the agreement.""

Everyone gets that CU is trying to upgrade talent and improve the program, but assuming there is still a moral compass in college sports, and this definitely sounds like its on the wrong side of how to operate.

When a the AD from the school you committed to, tells you that your scholly is safe no matter who they hire, then it isn't (in the 11th hour no less), that is complete and total ********. **** anyone who does that to a kid, especially 13 of them. Rooting for that program to crash and burn.
Why would you believe any AD at their word? This coach will be here for 4 years and so will I. Both take jobs a week later. It’s the business

Celebrities posing as leaders hasn’t worked out well in many venues.

Here's hoping that the CU game is an early example of the upgrade we have made in coaching. Finding a way to lose to CU/Deion and his tribe of Jackson State coaches would be right up Frost's alley.

I'll be honest, so far CU/Deion did get a four star kid from KS, who seems just a tiny bit flaky and was committed to at least two other schools before CU.

A few 3-stars, solid players and some decent portal guys, nothing amazing. So far I'm really not seeing it.
