Pretty freaking cool. Total flake, but one cool cat.
Scientology has warped that dudes mind. But he's been a mega star for 30 plus years. His back and forth with Jack Nicholson in "A few good men" is legendary. Fun fact. Nicholson only needed one take for that infamous You can't handle the truth scene.

He's a weird dude (scientology), but he makes really fun and entertaining movies. One of the few that still does. The only bad Tom Cruise movie I can remember is that Mummy movie.

I think he needs to recheck his Thetan levels o_O Other than that, he does make a Damn good movie.

I fully expect him to die on set. But as the line in my favorite movie goes, "If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love."

He is THE movie star in my book. I ignore his scientology weirdness so I can continue to enjoy his movies. I actually liked the Mummy, I'm easy.

The dude is totally weird in many ways, but I think he is actually a pretty good guy. Anyway, he is one of two movie stars that I will make sure to see any of the movies he makes. Denzel is the other one.

....agreed. Eastwood is another. The last scene of Unforgiven might be the best ending scene ever in a movie.

Keanu Reeves as honorable mention....more so because he seems to be a really good dude even when the lights aren't on him.

Edit: Oops...I went off topic itt their own stunts. Lol

One of the few remaining great actors who remains truly passionate about his art. And he seems to genuinely appreciate the moviegoers. A throwback to when Hollywood actually meant something.

My grandsons in California played at the same park as Cruise and Suri many times. My son says Cruise is a cool dude, even though Tom likes guys.

Wasn't a big Keanu Reeves fan until he did the John Wick movies. That and like you said he's a hell of a nice guy and does good things with his money.

Haven't like anything that Cruise has done in the last 20 years. His affiliation with scientology and fascination with dudes is an interesting study.

Yep!

I watch movies for fun, not to give a **** about what the actors do in their lives.
Same with music...My favorite bands could come out on stage with needles hanging out of their veins.

I have some friends pretty high up in the Hollywood scene. They say he has gay swinger/orgy party's and makes people sign NDA's upon entering.

He's great for the parts that don't require acting, like Wick and Matrix. Solid dude for sure

Always dedicated to his craft. I’m glad second Top Gun was so successful. Mostly buried the nonsense of the past.
