Good luck kid. Don't be surprised if you're enjoying the view from the bench.

Some were saying he was going to Michigan the day after the season. Pretty messed up really.
only thing messed up about it is we're not doing it to others

at least having a coach for the foreseeable future will allow us to ramp up our tampering (hopefully)

He was really good at making tackles 6 yards down the field. Heres to the continuation of that over the next several years. That's if he sees the field at all.

Get used to it. We will be a feeder program. It will get harder and harder to get over the hump.

Looking at Michigan's 4-2-5 defense and their expected returners, he is likely to be a back up next year. I get going to a place to win but this seems a bit short sighted on his part.

Except the next man up is a big drop off
Well you can put the next man up in there and play him or you can sit around and whine because he is gone. I choose to just move on. Control the things you can control.

Of course, you are nothing but an actor playing a character on a message board, but you do you.

I find it hard to believe that Michigan doesn’t already have higher rated linebackers. Not to mention they are going to continue to get more of them and recruit over him. Huge risk by this kid.

And the roster is far from finalized. Time to move on.

Don't blame the kid. Blame the adults that created such a sh*tshow that he had to be a part of the last couple of years.

Everyone loses players through the portal. Michigan lost our opening game starting QB and tight end to Iowa.

Like someone else posted, all you can do is wish them well and call for the next man up.

doesn't going to a place to sit & develop mean he's playing the long game?

You think that is why he's leaving? The previous staff did suck, but he didn't leave until they were fired. Plus hiis dad and Frost are buddies.

Who really knows but Hausman why transfer but I'm surprised he was so quick to pull the trigger and didn't really allow the new staff a chance to retain his commitment. With all that said it will be an interesting development going forward and I wish him good luck just not against Nebraska.

The kid has it made if he had stayed. I for one think he's an idiot for leaving.
Well, that I'm not 100% sure of either....he wasn't a starter until Hinrichs got hurt....I believe both Hinrichs and Remier are coming back, I'm thinking his starting spot was anything but guaranteed.

We need to get us a few of these.

If our staff isn't tampering with other players all season, then they're not trying.

when will we announce our new Director of Tampering? before or after WR coach, QB coach, LB coach?

perhaps - in an ironic twist - we can steal michigan's?

I say turn the page on him. Maybe we could look forward instead of backward.

Seems like its the opposite of being short sighted, he's taking a longer term view. Michigan will lose Michael Barrett and Junior Colson after the 2023 season. So presumably Hausmann will have a starting role as an ILB for the next 2 seasons.

Has a ton of potential and wish he would stay, but I'm not in the "good luck, kid" camp. Once he commits to another school, especially one in the Big, screw him.

Not sure Henrich will ever come back better than when he left.

Especially a Nebraska kid who isn't leaving because he's homesick.

assuming they don't bring in another group of 4 and 5 stars and recruit over him. Also Barrett is leaving after this year, but they have a 2 Fresh and a sophomore on the 3 deep, already with a year in the system.

No longer a Husker, he can suck it. Hope he fails miserably, just like the rest of Michigan players. Im pretty sure he isnt even a Nebraska kid. Didnt he move from somewhere else?
