I think it has been pretty well established on this board that the guy doesn’t know what he is doing and these type of tactics will never work Winking

That's a page right out of the old Joe Paterno recruiting book. That's what did at recruit homes to get the Moms on his side.
The problem was when sandusky would join in on the visits & Joe would be doing the dishes, Jerry would “watch” the little kids in the basement to give mommy so break time

Goes back farther than that. Bob Devaney used to joke that he once sat at the piano and sang with a recruit's mom. When asked if the recruit signed with the Huskers, he said, "No, but his mom did."

When I first saw the title of this topic I thought it was "Haarburg washing dishes" and said to myself, "Dang, Rhule's really clearing out this roster!"

No, but legend has it his brother in law, Tom Crean, did so at Kyrie’s parents house on a home visit around 2010. Clogged things so bad a plumber had to be called. And to avoid recruiting violations Crean couldn’t pay for it!!!

How dare he act like a decent human being! We still liking our ex-player coach enough to try and throw shade on an actual professional, who doesn’t treat the job like a prison sentence?

You know.....I used to think that, but there's a part of me who has grown to like him...some...
Like the dude or not, he is one of the few who coached successfully in college ( 58-27), went to the pros and was successful (44-19), then returned to college successfully (74-24).

One of the extreme few (literally <half a dozen in history to make that exact journey, as I told everyone weeks ago & was chastised to no end)

We are banking on Rhule being an exception just like harbaugh

kong, no can do.

Rhule had a winning college record, then a losing pro record, and then a return to college. Not quite the same.

Harbaugh won at both levels.

Consider this yet another chastisement....

Probably a better tactic than "I'm coach Prime, holla at me."

I've seen a few of his interviews and he cracks me up...he repeats the exact same sentence like 3 or 4 times....he repeats the exact same sentence like 3 or 4 times...he repeats the exact same sentence like 3 or 4 times. It's weird.

I don't get it. Can you repeat that?

The Mike Riley version.

To recruit kids to play in cold Nebraska, you have to have brass balla.
