Just what we need, he played D-line in the NFL, we need to upgrade our D-line recruiting big time.

I believe this is a done deal and was announced simultaneously with Corey Campbell coming over from the Panthers. I was hoping for a Robinson also but hopefully this will do. He’s fairly green…

Read that he is already making $850 or $875, a bunch no matter how you add it up. Rhule has a budget to work with.
Looks like this is a moot point as we have hired someone else, but if the budget would constrain us from getting the best then what the hell are we in the big ten for? Its literally the only good/beneficial thing about it. Who cares if you dont use the money. We cant afford to dick around with the current state of our program and our recruiting disadvantages.

Pretty thin resume...his only coaching experience is 2 years at an FCS school and 2 years as an assistant line coach at Carolina. About the same as Raiola.

Well, there isn't an endless pot of money is there? If not, then give each assistant $2 mill each and be done.

Ok, why not if they are the top at their craft? Are you going to see a dime of all that big ten money or something? Think big hire big pay big.

Raiola had nothing to do with experience, he just sucked. I hope we at least took a look at the A&M guy and offered to up his salary somewhat. If he turned it down and this guy is the best we can do, I'm all for it. Can't be any worse than Dawson.
