With halfway competent coaching this year, we would have run through the Big 10 West with ease. We have hidden talent on the lines too, just piss poor coaching that won't bring it out. The next coach just needs to bring in a few of the right pieces and with proper coaching for the first time in 8 years, we'll start to see massive improvement. Gbr.

Coaching was good enough. Quarterback room was not
I don’t disagree with this but we won 2 (so far) had a double digit lead in the second half in 3 and lost to 1 win NW after the dumbest coaching decision in the history of football. I could see how this team could have won six conference games and tied for the West (assuming Purdue wins tomorrow).
Not sure if that says more about how we played or how bad the West is.
Look at the recruiting rankings for the last 20 years and Nebraska has consistently out-recruited their division opponents in both the Big 12 and 10. The excuses any poster has made about talent at Nebraska has been to defend whichever loser coach they were making excuses for.
Yeah we have a program that should absolutely own the west. It is crazy that since they redid the divisions in 2014 we have never won it. No excuse for it, it is an awful division
