Let’s face it, these are the same people who still have wet dreams that some day they will get to meet Scott FLLLLLLLLLost, after he miraculously comes back to coach the Huskers. It’s a sickness in the fanbase. Just look at all the childish fits already being threatened if Mickey doesn’t get the job. Nebraska has a largely inbred fanbase, that doesn’t have the cognitive capability of letting someone do their job (before they throw pre-school level tantrums). I guess I can’t blame them, they act just like Osborne when he doesn’t get his way. I’ve often thought there is no way the program can move forward, until him (and his excuse makers) are removed from having any influence

The vast majority. Imagine wanting the current fill-in to become permanent when you consider this is probably the worst Husker team in at least 50 plus years. Remember when Frost wrote his cute letter that was critical of things happening years ago (that were downright lies, but the cleti still repeats it endlessly)? I do. Frosturbators ate it up from their knees. Now the same is happening with Mickey. I have no idea how people can’t look at this and see history repeating itself. Literally the definition of insanity. I did start the thread that said FU to Trev but I did include everyone involved in the decision to bring back Frost. So it's more of a general FU to the whole situation. I don't hate Trev but I am frustrated that this entire season has been a waste of time. Nebraska hasn't just lost, we've been operating at levels of incompetent and stupid that are inexcusable. Trev gets his opportunity to change that, I guess we'll see.

You are characterizing it wrong and just inflaming emotions with the word "hate". It's NOT hate for Trev. But it is accountability for this disaster of a season because he didn't fire Frost at the end of last season and thus getting started on the next attempt at a rebuild. No getting around the fact that we lost a year with that decision. Hopefully Trev gets it right now with whoever is the new hire.

You need to let go. Are there guys on here pulling for Mickey? Absolutely. But the biggest ones that are hating on Trev aren’t those guys. It’s the guys who were pissed Frost wasn’t fired last year. It’s the guys who are pissed that Mickey is still a candidate at all.
You are directing all of this at those who want Mickey, when the ones who are hating on Trev the most are the ones who are most vehemently opposed to Mickey.

Nah. I was ran off before for (correctly) pointing out the kind of person and coach Frost was when he was hired. I will repeat it endlessly to those who demanded any dissent from the group think got removed. Petty? Probably. However, it is interesting nobody had a problem with the regular Husker fan echo chamber back then. Turns out some of us knew exactly what the guy was likely to do, not that they ever stopped the crying about it. People STILL blame the previous regimes. That is about the dumbest, stuck in the past mindset that other fan bases laugh at us for. Look at the hate Harbaugh gets here over the years, all while the same people slobbed the knob of the guy who will never sniff the success he’s had in his career.
But that has nothing to do with the hate Trev is receiving. That’s all I was getting at. You are dropping the same takes in every thread possible, but it doesn’t fit here.

many are finding it difficult to level their 'proven experience' demands for a head coach with the fact that the decision rests with a guy who quite literally couldn't have less experience leading a D1 football program/coaching search
