I thought surely this thread would be about how his "miracle" jayhawks were 4-point underdogs to a 4-5 team today and are currently losing 27-21
Sorry dude, Nebraska isn't hiring your special Olympics level coach Mickey. We appreciate that you support the mentally handicapped, but this is a blue blood big time program that wants to win. Do charity work on your time. Leipold is light-years better.

Was never close? It was a one score game with a few minutes left! Honestly, did Leipold do your Mom and make you watch?
Thankfully, the bloom is off of that rose. They are likely going to lose out and finish under .500 after the bowl game. He has done a nice enough job in Kansas but this would be a geographical hire only. If our opening was in Virginia, would he even be discussed at this point in the season?
Old man could bring his team to Memorial stadium and he would thrash our guys. That's the truth.
They had a chance to tie it up late, but the quarterback decided to hold the ball in the pocket for about a minute and a half until someone came along and strip sacked him at the 10. I don't know what he was thinking.
His defense also doesn't do him any favors. They got down 24 to 7 and got to 24 to 21 by halftime.
It may not be Leipold, but it's definitely not Mickey and the gang.

Leipold has a good gig at KU....I hope he stays there. This is only his 2nd year, but I think he has does well to just get them to a bowl game.
Don't understand people on here who trash other coaches/teams....with the losing records we have had the past numerous years. I worked with Mrs Leipold when they lived here before....great people. I think they are a better fit at KU.

There are probably 75-80 coaches that can come into Lincoln and beat Nebraska. That doesn’t make those coaches good, it just means Nebraska sucks.
KU boards saying he’s leaving for Nebraska. At this point the only thing I believe is Frost sucked. So many confirmed coaches at this point.
