Bad feeling about this one. Illinois rushes for 55 times for 375 yards. Time of possession 40:minutes to 20 minutes.

This team is energized at Home... Mickey isn't Scott Frost and won't make the same mistakes and this team plays hard... With a bowl game still in sight NU Gets this one... I see this looking like the Indiana game but perhaps a tad closer... 35-24 the good guys
Illinois stubbed their toe against Indiana, they won’t Saturday. BB knows the recipe to win in the conference. Huskers make it close late but fall 28-20.
Simple, stop the run on defense and give Thompson time to pick his targets on offense and Nebraska wins. However these plans hardly ever come to fruition and unfortunately Nebraska plays hard but just doesn't have enough gas in the tank. Illinois 24 Nebraska 20. This teams performance shows the kids love Mickey as coach but there is too much of the former coach ingrained in this team this year to overcome it's shortcomings and this is not Josephs fault. jmo
Hope I’m very wrong. Illinois by 10. 2-300 on the ground. Would love to see a mistake free Husker game more than anything else. Keep showing growth as a competent program. A well played and disciplined Husker squad is what I want to see from MJ’s team. Do that and we can hang and make some plays on O. GBR.
31-21 Illinois. We'll hit a couple long td's but it'll be another game where the opponent controls time of possession. Blackshirts can't stop the run.
